Time skip (3am)
Alix reaches over, trying to cuddle Becca, groaning softly when she finds cold sheets. She props up on her elbow and rubs her eyes, "Bec" she says softly. When she doesn't get an answer, she gets up and yawns, heading downstairs. If Alix knew Becca, she'd be in the kitchen, the one place she went when she couldn't sleep. Rounding the corner, she lets out a hum when she sees the light on in the kitchen. Finding Becca sitting at the island, playing with her tea bag. Alix walks up behind her and softly kisses her shoulder*
"Everything okay?" Alix asks with a hint of grogginess in her voice. Becca hums softly, "Mhm. You okay?"
"Mm I'd be better if you were in bed" Alix says while covering a yawn.
"Sorry" Becca says softly, "I couldn't sleep and I didn't want to wake you...but apparently I did anyway".
Alix hums, looping her arms around Becca's shoulders, kissing her temple*
"What's going on in that head of yours, hm?" Alix asks softly.
Becca hums softly, reaching up and lightly rubbing Alix's arm.
"Us" Becca says softly.
Humming softly, "what about us?" Alix asks.
Sighing softly, Becca turns to look at Alix, "if we had to do distance...could we make it?"
"Distance as in..."
"As in, you take a job across the country or in England and I'm...here"
Alix lightly rubs Becca's cheek with her knuckle, sighing softly.
"I think, if we tried, we could. But I haven't decided on what I'm doing yet, so-"
"But it's something we need to consider Alix"
Alix gently cups Becca's cheeks, making sure she's looking at her.
"We can cross that bridge when or if we come to it. But as of right now, I'm not leaving. Okay?"
Becca nods and looks down.
"Hey" Alix says softly, titling Becca's face up. She hums softly and looks into Alix's eyes.
"I just got you back...and I have no plans of leaving anytime soon"
"But-"
"No buts Bec. If I choose not to take a job, or a position, it's because I don't want it"
"Alix" Becca sighs.
Alix leans down and places a soft kiss on Becca's lips, humming softly when Becca lingers for a moment.
"We can make this work" she says softly "but we both have to want it"
"I do" Becca whispers, "I want this more than anything".
"Good", Alix kisses Becca softly, "now...can we go back to bed?"
"Yeah"
Alix steps back as Becca stands up and rinses her cup out. Turning out the light then following being Alix, chuckling when she covers her bum with her hands.
"I can feel you staring"
"It's a nice view"
Alix turns and looks at Becca with a quirked eyebrow. She chuckles softly, "it's a great booty baby"
Chuckling softly, Alix reaches the top of the stairs and heads back to her room. Becca follows and shuts the door behind her.
"Come here" Alix says lifting the blanket. Becca hums and crawls under the blankets, wrapping her arm around the younger woman's waist. Alix slides her hand up and lightly scratches Becca's neck, placing a soft kiss on her forehead.
"I'm sorry I woke you up" Becca mumbles softly.
"It's okay" rubbing the base of her skull with her thumb, "I'm glad I did".
The older woman hums softly, innocently sliding her hand under Alix's shirt.
"How am I supposed to sleep when you leave?"
"I only live an hour away..."
Becca pushes up and looks at Alix, "wait...really?"
"Mhm" she reaches up and rubs her cheek, "Sleepovers can definitely be thing, if you want them"
"Yes!"
Alix chuckles as Becca rolls her on her back, placing sweet kisses on her lips then on her neck.
"Baby..."
Alix cups Becca's cheek and pulls her into a soft kiss.
"Mmm?"
"As much as I want to...I'm supposed to meet your mom in the morning for coffee"
Becca groans softly, burying her face in the crook of Alix's neck.
"But you're my girlfriend"
Alix hums and lightly rubs the back of her head, "I am? I don't remember you asking me...."
Becca mumbles, "because I had a cute idea planned".
After a few minutes pass, Alix feels Becca's breaths even out. She peeks down and sees her sleeping peacefully on her chest.
"Sweet dreams my love" she whispers softly. Yawning softly and getting comfy, Alix allows herself to drift back to sleep.
