Chapter 49

Becca places an occasional kiss on Alix's head. Gently rubbing up and down her back, wishing she could take away all the pain. After a couple minutes, Becca feels Alix's grip slowly loosen but she doesn't let go. Humming softly, Becca places another soft kiss on her temple.
"I love you" she whispers. Alix sighs and whispers back, "I love you...I'm sorry".
Becca gently pulls back and cups Alix's cheek, wiping the left over tears away.
"Sorry? Baby you have nothing to be-"
"I was trying to make dinner to celebrate your first day at your new big girl job" Alix sighs softly, "and somehow it's turned into....this"
She looks down and sees the wet mark she's made on Becca's shirt, "And I've ruined your shirt"
Becca looks down at the shirt then tilts Alix's chin up, "You didn't ruin anything. Not dinner and not my shirt. Dinner smells amazing and the shirt can be washed"
She watches as Alix looks down at her lips subtly then catches herself and looks down. Becca places soft kisses on Alix's temple and rubs her back.
"Why don't we go shower?" Becca says softly, "then we can come back down and reheat dinner. I think there's a game on later if you want to watch it"
Alix nods softly and goes to clean the kitchen up.
"Ah. Leave it" Becca says softly, "we can clean up after dinner".

Gently taking her hand, Becca leads Alix upstairs. When they get to her bedroom, Alix lets go of Becca's hand and goes to get her clothes. Bec sits on the bed and watches Alix.
"Hm?" Alix hums softly
"What?" Becca answers softly.
"I can feel your eyes"
Becca hums softly and crosses a leg under her and clears her throat softly. Alix glances over and does what she did in the kitchen, looking at Becca's lips then back down.
"I'm sorry" Becca says softly.
Alix looks up at her confused.
"When you asked me to come with you today, and cancel my meeting....I should've known something was up. I should've just said yes then none of this-"
Alix walks over and gently cups her girlfriend's cheeks, "this isn't on you".
"But"
"No buts, Bec. None of this is your fault"
Alix sighs and lays her forehead gently on Becca's.
"Come shower with me" Alix says softly, "then you can tell me how exciting all your meetings were today"
Becca cracks a softly smile, "exciting isn't exactly the word I would use. Your meeting was probably more eventful than all of mine combined"
"Still, I want to hear about them"

Alix gently pulls Becca with her to the bathroom and starts the shower. Both woman strip out of their clothes and climb in. Alix lets out a slow soft sigh as the water washes over her. Becca places a soft kiss on her shoulder then neck, feeling Alix shiver slightly under her lips. They take their time slowly washing and relaxing under the water. Becca gets out first and grabs their towels, drying off. Handing Alix hers as she gets out and dries off. Becca goes to change and gives Alix some space as she does her routine. After a couple minutes Alix comes out, dressed in a comfy lounge set. Becca hums and smiles softly, "I have a set like that. Super comfy"
"I know. This is yours" Alix says with a soft smile.
"Mmm" Becca nods, "Stealing my clothes now?"
"Mhm"
Alix sighs and walks over to where Becca is on the bed. Gently straddling her lap and looping her arms around her neck. Becca hums softly and lightly rubs Alix's thighs.
"They smell like you...and they made me feel safe" Alix says barely above a whisper.
"You're safe baby. I promise. I got you" Bec whispers back. Slowly sliding her hands under Alix's top, lightly rubbing up and down her back. Alix slowly connects their lips. Becca lets out a soft sigh of relief and kisses her back, feeling Alix slowly melt into her.
Letting Alix have control, Becca slowly rubs her hands up and down her back, then slowly over the curve of her bum and back up. Alix lets out a soft moan against her lips, deepening the kiss then slowly pulling back.
"We should've probably go eat dinner" she says softly.
"Mm" Becca hums softly, "we probably should"
Alix places another soft kiss on her lips and slowly gets up. Becca gets up and follows Alix downstairs. She goes to heat up the food while Alix pours them wine and then water. Becca sits Alix's plate in front of her and slides through stool out for her. Alix sits and smiles softly. Becca hums and lets out a soft moan as she smells the food.
"This really does smell amazing Al"
"Thanks" she says softly, "I borrowed the recipe from Drew's grandma"
Becca hums and takes a bite, "well it tastes amazing. Mm thanks grandma and thank you baby"
Becca places a soft kiss on Alix's cheek, making her smile softly.

The two women sit and eat dinner, chatting about meetings and what they have scheduled for tomorrow.
"I do need to go back to my apartment tomorrow" Alix says.
Becca hums and raises her eyebrows, "want some company?"
Alix takes their empty plates and rinses them, before putting them in the dishwasher.
"Sure. If you want to help me pack"
Becca hums and gets up, softly kissing her shoulder and neck, "packing can be fun. Did you find a place of here already?"
Alix hums, "sort of. Shay's parents said I can use the lake house".
"Why do I get the feeling you're the favorite Taylor when it comes to Shay's parents?"
Alix shrugs, "Shay's parents...are more like my second parents. When everything blew up....i basically moved into their garage apartment. They wouldn't let me pay rent, so I'd cook dinner and do breakfast. And I'd do lawn work"
"Ah" Becca hums, "using the ole Alix magic"
Alix chuckles softly, making a warmth feel Becca's chest.
"I've only ever used that on you"
Becca kisses her shoulder, "good. I like being the only one"

Alix playfully rolls her eyes. Becca helps Alix clean up the kitchen then leads her to the living room. Bec turns on the game while Alix snuggles into her, draping her arm across Becca's stomach. Slowly tracing up and down the younger woman's back, Becca feels Alix slowly starting to relax. Alix slides her hand under Becs shirt, slowly tracing along her ribs, feeling tiny goosebumps erupt under her touch.
Alix hums softly, continuing to trace along her girlfriend's ribs and slowly under her boob. Becca glances down and see Alix absentmindedly rubbing her thumb along her ribs, not paying any attention to the game.
"Baby" she says softly.
"Hm?" Alix hums back.
"You okay?"
Alix hums and nods. Becca places a soft kiss on her head and shifts slightly so Alix is more comfortable. Alix rolls slightly so Becca's leg is between hers. Becca hums as she notices how warm Alix is getting. Sighing she pushes the thought from her mind.
"No" she thinks to herself. "She stressed and needs time. Keep your horny to yourself"

Alix pushes up after a few minutes and slowly kisses up Becca's neck. Letting out a soft hum and tilting her head giving Alix more room.
"Baby" Alix whispers
"Hm?"
"I'm really tired of thinking tonight" she says between kisses. "The only thing I want to think about is you. How good you taste and how good you feel"
Becca hums and finds Alix's lips, kissing her slowly. "Here or in bed?"
