While boarding the plane, Jackson noticed his mother's face. A face she made that he will never forget. It was almost like a sorrowful face or a 'goodbye forever face'. He stayed quiet.
"Ma'am, a fee for the gas money please." Spoke the flight attended.
"Here you go sir.," She handed the man the money, "go on baby."
Evelynn gave the man the money and put her hand on Jackson's shoulder. They left the airport and ran to sit in comfy plane seats.
"Jackson, this will be exciting, you have never been on a plane before!"
It was scary, not being on a plane, but what his mother was saying to him. He knew it was only to make him feel better about the situation, but he was smarter than this. He knew why they had to leave. He understood what was happening to his country.
