As Anastasia's father approached, a mixture of fear and relief painted his expression upon recognizing Zephyr as the king, a protective concern for his little daughter evident in his eyes. Zephyr maintained his stoic demeanor and instructed him to lead the way to his home. Upon arrival, Anastasia's mother, overcome with shock and fear, enveloped her daughter in a tight embrace, tears streaming down her face. When she noticed Zephyr's presence, she hurriedly ushered their children into another room, leaving Zephyr alone in the living room.

The family's home, though large, seemed small in comparison to Zephyr's imposing figure. With a commanding presence, he directed them to sit down and introduced himself, "I am King Zephyr." Anastasia's parents, wide-eyed, expressed their gratitude for finding their daughter and detailed the soldiers' restrictions that hindered their search.

When questioned about Anastasia's injuries, Zephyr explained, "She was stuck in a stream by the dark forest when I stumbled upon her." He assured them of their family's safety, revealing the special bond formed during her rescue. Anastasia's father, initially angered, voiced his reluctance, fearing for his daughter's well-being.

Remaining composed, Zephyr clarified, "I'm not interested in her like that. My demon just bonded a bit with her while saving her from death. He considers her his responsibility. I need to keep her safe and secure even though I can leave you all here and take her with me, and you won't be able to do anything about it. I don't want to do that even though I can. I'm thinking of what's better for her and her whole family. You'll get a job, a roof, and food. How does that sound?"

Anastasia's father, reluctant but understanding the offer's potential benefits, reluctantly nodded. Zephyr continued, instructing them not to leave the premises and announcing their relocation to his home. He assured me, "Your family will be safe." Anastasia's father, making a pact, said, "Promise me my family would be safe." Zephyr affirmed, "For sure," and directed them to start packing for their move.

Before departing, Zephyr informed them that his guards would pick them up the next day. As Anastasia's mother returned to the room, eyes red from crying, she cautiously approached Zephyr. "Thank you for saving our daughter," she whispered, her voice filled with gratitude and trepidation.

Zephyr nodded solemnly, "I must ensure the safety of all under my protection." Regaining a bit of composure, Anastasia's father added, "We appreciate your help, Your Majesty. We want our family to be together and safe."

Zephyr's gaze hardened, "I understand." With that, he glanced toward the door through which Anastasia had disappeared and left the house.

Outside, he gestured for Frederick to come closer. In a low voice, he said, "Get that soldier with the beard. We have a torture session to complete. Then, prepare for the welcome party." The events set in motion promised a complex interplay of alliances, safety, and the unknown bonds that connected supernatural beings with unsuspecting humans.
