I leave my room in the dead of night, I'm completely unable to sleep and the place is completely dead quiet. All the Avox's are gone and there isn't a single soul in sight when I slip out of my room, still in my pyjamas and head into the living room, I sit down on the couch, noticing the place is immediately spotless. The Avox's really do a good job.
I feel sorry for them, really. They have been stripped of their tongue and forced into the Capitol and made to be a servant to people. It's not fair on them but it's really not like I can do anything about it, I'm as helpless as they are to me. so instead I sit in the living room and just watch the moonlight out of the window. It's gorgeous at nightime.
"Third time is always the charm" I hear a voice come from behind me, I flick around. noticing Finnick standing behind me.
He's wearing a dark grey t-shirt and a pair of black loose trousers. He looks annoyingly better in sweats than instead of the whole good looking charm. He looks like he wants to kiss me again, to be honest. I want to kiss him once more and I'm hoping he's going to come over to me, push me up against the glass and make what my mother used to say make love.
But he does not.
"Can't sleep?" Finnick raises an eyebrow, I shake my head. walking away from the porcelain window and over to the muscular man who is looking directly at me.
"No. why are you awake?" I wonder, walking over to him when I notice something sticking out of his hand.
"I saw you leave your room." Finnick shrugs, pulling something out of his hand. The stainless steel glass of the wine makes my mouth almost water. "I was awake already. Wine?"
I run over to him, snatching the bottle out of his hands and admiring it before I saw him. I was in awe, back in my district. Wine was one of the finest luxuries. "How did you get that?"
"I snuck it from the fridge. I think they can live without one bottle." Finnick shrugs off and then he takes the bottle back, lifting up my chin to admire my entire face. "You look as beautiful as you did with makeup."
"Don't make me blush. I know your lying." I pushed him off of me and sat down at the dining room table, I rested my head on my together hands and watched him whilst he whisked around.
"Why can't I be nice to you?" Finnick raised an eyebrow.
"That's not being nice. that's being flirty, and you said you didn't want to get attached to me?" I blinked at the boy, who was pouring the both of us a glass of wine.
"I never said I wasn't a hypocrite." Finnick commented on, sitting down across from me and sipping his wine. "You didn't answer my question a couple nights ago."
"mhm what was that question?" I asked him, tilting my head and watching him ever so slightly.
"Anyone back at home for you?" Finnick wondered.
