Third person POV :)

Abhirath sat on the edge of Vedanti's bed, his eyes never leaving her face as she slowly began to stir. The memory of their past happiness still lingered in his mind, a beacon of hope amidst the recent turmoil. Just then, his father entered the room and sat beside Vedanti, gently placing his hand on her head.

"Stay blessed and always happy, my dear," he said softly, his voice filled with affection and warmth.

Abhirath's mother followed, sitting on the other side of the bed. She took Vedanti's hand and kissed it tenderly. "You have to take more care of yourself now, no going on missions at all," she said, her tone firm but loving. She glared at Vedanti for emphasis. "I'm shifting to your chamber to ensure you follow this."

As soon as she said this, both Abhirath and his father exclaimed in unison, "No, Mom!", "No, love."

Abhirath mom blushed, her eyes darting to Abhirath, who quickly said "I can take care of what mine" His voice was gentle but resolute, making Vedanti's heart flutter.

Abhirath's grandparents, who had been standing at the doorway, chuckled. "We're still here, you know," Abhirath's grandfather said with a teasing grin.

Rolling his eyes, Abhirath's father retorted, "As if you never called Mom 'life' in front of us, Father." This playful jab made Abhirath's grandmother blush, her cheeks tinged with a rosy hue.

"Stop, all of you," Vedanti said, feigning anger. She crossed her arms over her chest, trying to look stern but failing miserably as a smile tugged at the corners of her mouth. "What are you teaching my baby?"

The room erupted in laughter, the tension easing as they shared this joyful moment. Abhirath's heart swelled with love and gratitude for his family, their support and affection surrounding him like a warm embrace.

Setting and world-building were enhanced as the warmth and intimacy of the chamber came to life. The rich tapestries on the walls, the soft glow of candlelight, and the gentle hum of familial love created an atmosphere of safety and belonging.

Abhirath's mother leaned in, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Well, it's about time we taught the little one the importance of family," she said, her voice full of warmth.

Vedanti's heart felt full as she looked around at her family. Despite the recent challenges and misunderstandings, this moment reminded her of the deep bonds they all shared. She reached out and took Abhirath's hand, squeezing it gently.

Abhirath's eyes met hers, and for a moment, it was just the two of them, connected by a love that transcended all obstacles. "We'll get through this together," he whispered, his voice filled with determination and love.

Vedanti nodded, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Together," she echoed, her voice steady and sure.

The royal physician entered the room, breaking the moment. "My queen," she said, bowing slightly, "you need to rest now. We have much to discuss about your care."

Vedanti nodded, feeling the weight of her new reality settle over her. But with her family by her side and Abhirath's unwavering love, she felt ready to face whatever came next. The room, once filled with anxiety and fear, now brimmed with hope and anticipation for the future.

As the family began to disperse, Abhirath stayed by Vedanti's side, his hand never leaving hers. "I love you," he whispered, his voice full of promise and commitment.

Vedanti opened her mouth to reply, but before she could, Trupti entered the chamber with a small, tentative smile.

"Congratulations, my queen," Trupti said, her voice polite but strained.

Vedanti smiled in return, though the gesture didn't quite reach her eyes. Trupti came and sat behind her, on the opposite side of the bed from Abhirath.

Vedanti felt the tension in the room, her mind racing with the complexities of their intertwined lives.

On one side was Abhirath, the man she loved, and on the other was Trupti, a woman who also held a place in their lives.

The awkward silence between the three of them was almost palpable, a stark contrast to the earlier moments of familial joy.

Vedanti knew that Trupti was not only there to check on her but also to seek answers from Abhirath. Sensing the underlying tension, she said, "I think you both should go. I want to rest."

Abhirath, understanding Vedanti's intention, looked at Trupti and said, "Trupti, can you give us some privacy?"

Trupti simply nodded, her eyes lingering on Abhirath and Vedanti for a moment longer. She saw the way Abhirath's gaze softened when he looked at Vedanti, how he gently touched her belly with so much love. With a final glance, she turned and left the room, her footsteps echoing in the silence.

Once Trupti was gone, Abhirath turned back to Vedanti. His voice was tender as he said, "Mother of my child," his eyes filled with love and wonder. He was just an inch away from her face, his hand caressing her belly gently.

Vedanti giggled, a tear spilling from her eye. "Abhi," she said with so much vulnerability, her voice breaking.

He leaned in, their foreheads and noses touching. Without another word, Abhirath understood the storm of emotions raging inside her. He straightened himself and said, "Just give me one week. I swear on our child, I will clear this mess. Everything." He repeated, "Just one week," before kissing her belly softly.

Vedanti closed her eyes, feeling a mix of relief and anxiety. "This is the last time I am trusting you and that to for our baby but remember it was and it always has to be me you and our baby no one else abhirath I repeat no fucking one in between us. " she whispered, though the weight of her words was heavy.

"I understood, but now please rest" Abhirath said, his voice soothing.

Unbeknownst to them, Trupti was still standing at the entrance, hidden from view. She had overheard Abhirath's promise and a smirk played on her lips. "I also want to see what you do, Abhirath," she thought, her mind already planning her next move. Slowly, she slipped away, leaving Abhirath and Vedanti alone.

The chamber, filled with the soft glow of candlelight, felt like a sanctuary amidst the chaos. Abhirath held Vedanti close, his heart heavy with the promise he had made. He knew the road ahead would be challenging, but he was determined to protect his family and restore peace.

Vedanti's breathing slowed as she drifted off to sleep, her hand resting on her belly. Abhirath watched over her, his mind racing with thoughts of how to resolve the situation. The weight of his responsibilities pressed down on him, but the love he felt for Vedanti and their unborn child gave him strength.
