Daddy looks through the crowd for a moment, his eyes adjusting to the light. His gaze finally stops on me and his own lip trembles. I close my eyes, trying to ignore the tears welling up them just as much as I'm trying to ignore the knife at my neck.

My hand itches to grab my own knife off of my hip. Real stupid move on their part to leave me with it. When I open my eyes again, Daddy's eyes are still locked on my own. In all actuality it hasn't been that long, but it feels like a lifetime since we've last spoken. A week since we've been on good-terms.

"So what should we do with them, huh?" The Governor asks.

The crowd yells all sorts of things, they want them dead. Of course they do, the Governor is a sick twisted, lie-spewing man. He's riling them up. The man gets really close to my Uncle muttering something that I can't quite hear from where I'm at.

Chaos. Everything is chaos. Daddy's shoulders are moving up and down quickly. I don't think he was expecting me to be here. Hell I bet he wasn't even expecting Merle to be here. This must come at quite the shock to him.

"I asked you where your loyalties lie. You said here. Well, prove it. Prove it to us all. Brother against brother." The Governor tells Merle. "Winner goes free. Fight to the death!"

"No!"I scream, ignoring the sharpness of the blade at my throat. I'm the only one disagreeing with him. The crowd surrounding me echoes into cheers.

The Governor walks out of the circle and I can hear Andrea pleading with the man. Merle looks over at Daddy with a gleam in his eye. He can't actually be thinking about killing him can he.

"Y'all know me! I'm gonna do, whatever I got to do to prove..." Merle sends a punch straight into Daddy's gut.

I scream out again as Daddy goes straight to the ground couching something heavy. Merle kicks him again, knocking the wind directly out of him.

"I'll never forgive you!" I scream at him as tears start rolling down my eyes. Daddy is still on the ground. "Get up! Daddy! GET UP!"

He lands more blows and that's when I smell something awful, men are leading walkers out on sticks. Merle is distracted by this and Daddy takes this as an opportunity to try and tackle Merle from behind. He's thrown down to the ground again, and Merle pins him at the neck.

The walkers close in on them and Daddy is holding Merle's neck as well. Then in a split second, Daddy and Merle are back to back. Pushing walkers that get to close to them.

A bullet pierces the skull of one of the walkers, and it takes the man holding it down as well. People start screaming and running as more bullets are fired. The girl with the bow from yesterday is dead right next to me. Then a smoke bomb is thrown into the arena.

I take this moment to struggle against the man holding me. My fingers itch for my knife, wrapping around the handle. His grip loosens, just a little bit, and I turn my head to the side biting him in the forearm. He screams out but tries to tighten his grip once more.

I twist and turn in his grasp and when he tries to wrap his arms around me, my arm flails out and my knife makes it's way across the mans neck, slicing through the flesh. He starts falling on top of me, sending me crashing to the floor as blood sprays out of the wound.

Eyes widening in shock I try to push the man off of me but the dead weight is just to heavy. I gasp at what I've just done, staring at him as blood continues pouring out of the wound and on top of me. It's warm and it's stick and it makes me start sobbing at the thought. I want to go home. I want my family. I don't want to be here.

Suddenly the weight is removed from my chest and Daddy is looking at me from above. He picks me up, placing me on my feet, checking for any injuries. None of the blood is mine though. There's so much of it, it's everywhere. Coating my hands, sticking to my hair my face. There's so much.
