Max had won today, again, but he didn't really cared about it. I did and I was more than proud of him, but he just shrugged his shoulders and said it was another Sunday and nothing special. What was special was the dinner he had planned for us.
So we were now making us ready for the evening in our shared hotel room. Max had gone to the bathroom before so he now was already ready and typing on his phone when I made my final preparations and stepped out of the bathroom.
Immediately he put the phone away and his jaw dropped.
"Babe you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life, you look stunning."
Shyly I smiled and stepped closer to him as he took my hand and spun me around to take a closer look at my dress and hair. I was wearing a long black dress with thin stripes that laid over my shoulders. Silver diamonds covered some parts of the dress, it was amazing.
"You look not so bad yourself." I giggled as Max pulled me closer and crossed his arms behind my back.
"I'm just the attachment to you my liefje."
He whispered the last words and we looked each other deep into the eyes. Emotions were transferred with that look and I had the feeling he would stare into my deepest heart, but I loved it, it felt so warm and wonderful like nothing had ever before.
"I love you." I whispered and it seemed that Max needed a few moments to fully understand what had just left my mouth.
His eyes widened and the smile on his lips grew only bigger.
"What did you just say?"
"I love you, Max." I repeated myself before I laid my hand on his cheek and leaned in.
The kiss was slow and filled with all the emotions from the last days and weeks. Of course we had the kiss on the beach and some others afterwards but it finally started to feel like it was getting better, the whole situation.
It felt like we would finally settle everything with us and the media. Speaking of, suddenly Max's phone vibrated and he sighed before he picked it up, his other hand still resting on my lower back.
"It's Clarissa, she sent me the text for the announcement. Should we do it now?" Max asked and looked at me concerned.
"How would you like to do it?"
"A story is best for this. I thought of maybe a picture of us, a more private one, or if you don't like it them I would just parse the text on a black background."
I nodded in response and looked through our hotel room. It was actually bigger than the rooms we usually stayed in and it also had a beautiful balcony from where you could see all the city lights of Singapore.
"What if we take a picture there?" I therefore suggested and pointed over to the balcony.
"That's a wonderful idea my love." Max answered and before he let go of me he gave me a quick kiss on the template.
Five minutes later everything was set. The light was out, the door of the balcony open and the phone placed on a chair so it had the perfect angle. With a smile on his face Max made his way over to me, as I was waiting one step outside on the balcony.
We communicated without a word and Max wrapped his arms around me so that me chest was facing his and so I could lay my head on his shoulder without showing it to the camera. One of his hands wandered carefully up to my neck and he slowly buried it into my hair.
Than he gave the phone the hint to take a phone and some sort of count down was running. I closed my eyes even though the camera wasn't seeing my face and suddenly I felt how Max was kissing my hair and burying his nose in it.
