Zoe

We didn't have a plan.

Twenty minutes later we were in the city and re-watching the video which Max had sent Lando already an hour ago. There were plenty of clubs in Budapest and it was like a needle in a haystack.

"Here!"

Finally I saw a little logo on one of the bottles on the table next to Max. Quickly I searched in the internet and found the name of the club, the "Winners Limited", how sarcastic. It was nearby so we parked the car in a little street and started walking.

I had a strange feeling in my stomach but I didn't say a word. I didn't even understand why Lando was here, helping me or more searching Max because I don't know if that was helping me. I wasn't even sure if I wanted this.

Clearly he didn't want me anymore, if he had ever done and know I was running after him like a baby duck. If it was for me I would step into the next bar myself and call it a night, but Lando was two steps in front of me and walking way too fast.

"Lando please slow down."

He stopped suddenly and turned around.

"Why? I am tired and we need to find him because tomorrow is the race and we need to be fit, the both of us."

"Why don't you drive back and go to sleep. If he isn't capable of driving tomorrow your chances will be much higher to win so what are you doing here?"

"Zoe, look at me. I know your feelings and emotions are messed up right now but half an hour ago you were crying in my arms because he broke officially up and told me how much you like him and now you want him dead?"

My eyes grew wide as he pointed at the subject so direct.

"Dead?"

"Yes, because he will be if he keeps going and then jump into the car with no sleep and an alcohol level of above 2 or 3. He is my friend and you are too and I now how much you two like each other no matter how difficult things are at the moment and I now his father is blocking your relationship and everything, I know it Zoe okay he told me."

"Wait, Max talked to you about it?"

Lando didn't answer me because he was already two steps in front again. Quickly I followed him and as I wanted to ask my question again we saw the club. Despite the time it was really crowded and I asked myself how nobody recognized Lado so far.

The closer we got to the club the more tense I got. Slowly I was realizing what I do. More slowly but with a maximum of realization it hit me how much he meant to me, how much I liked him. A couple of tears were falling out of my eyes because I was scared.

Scared that his father would hurt him if he founds out what his son did. It only would be worse if he would find out that I was also here, involved.

"I will wait outside, I am not feeling well." I therefore quickly said to Lando and laid my arms around my stomach.

The Brit nodded his head in acknowledgement and disappeared threw the people into the club. I watched after him before I leaned against a cold stone wall on the opposite of the club entrance.

The one half of my mind shouted at me to ran away and leave them behind because what would I get from all of this, it would only hurt me more than it already did. The other side said I should stay, help Lando to get Max back to the hotel. Even my heart was bleeding I still liked him, I still needed to be there for him.

"Zoe!" I heard Landos voice from the entranced and looked up.

Quickly I walked over to the Brit and saw how Max appeared behind him, but he wasn't happy.
