Untidy

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock, I reach to turn it off, but I don't get out of bed. I just lay there, staring at the ceiling. It's Friday... the game is today... and I can't go. I was thinking of things to tell my Father to convince him to let me go with Impa and Purah, like, 'it's the first game of my senior year', and 'I have never been to one', and Impa and Purah will kill me if I don't go.' Know matter how much I beg, Father will never let me go to the game, because I'm grounded. If I could just have my phone back. Well, I guess I should get ready for school... before Father gets mad at me for "sleeping in". 

I bring my legs off to the side of the bed and place my feet on the ground when I feel my cat's fur under my feet. "Oh! Sorry Terrako!" He quickly jumps up to my bed and crawls into my lap. I pick him up and hold him in my arms. Terrako is a Siamese cat with bright blue eyes... they are almost the same shade as Link's. No, Zelda stop. You can't think about him right now, you have to get ready for school. I give Terrako a kiss on the head and set him down on my bed and get up from my bed. 

I walk over to my closet and grab a black buttoned skirt, and a white, light orange, and light pink sweater, and a pair of burnt orange converse. I walk over to my bathroom and take a quick shower. Once I'm done, I get dressed and blow dry my hair. I don't want to wear make up today, so I walk out of the bathroom and pack up my backpack. Once I'm ready for school, I quickly head for the door so my Father doesn't notice me. "Zelda, may I have a word with you?" Father asks politely. So much for him not noticing me. I look over at him and he is sitting in his chair with the today's newspaper. 

"I need to get to school." I tell him, trying my best to not sound annoyed. 

"I know, it will only take a second." He says, still sounding very politely. I nod my head and he nods back at me. "Ok, please follow me into my study." Oh great... his study. We walk down the hallway to his study. He pushes open the giant french doors and walks and sits down in his desk as I sit down across from him. I hate coming in here, every time I come to talk to him I always get lectured at. He opens one of his desk drawers and pulls out... my phone! He sets it on the desk and slides it over to me. "I'm giving this back to you, I feel bad for the way I acted that night when that... boy... was here." He says sounding a bit disgusted. " I shouldn't of taken your phone away... but, you should have told me you were bringing him to our house to work on a project." 

"Yes, I know I should've." I say quietly. 

"Zelda, I have to ask... are you in love with that boy? You seem very defensive of him." He asks sounding even more disgusted.

"No, I'm not in love with him. I hardly know him, we just needed to work on a project." Let's forget the fact that he asked me on a date and kissed me twice...

"Ok, good. He doesn't seem good enough for you, he's a little sloppy."

"Sloppy? How is he sloppy?" I ask a little defensively. 

"He just seems very untidy. He was wearing a T-shirt and sport shorts... that is not proper attire for school." He says sounding a little smug.

"Ok well, I must be going. I don't want to be late for school." I say as I grab my phone. 

"Yes! Of course. Sorry to keep you for so long." He says quickly. I quickly walk out of his office and out the front door to my car. I get in start it and drive down the driveway and up to our gate. Hm... so that was kind of weird... Father was actually being... nice, and he gave my phone back. It's only been a day... why did I get it back so soon? He said he felt bad for the way he acted... but he always acts like that. Well, I got my phone back, so that's good. I open the gates and drive through them and make my way to school. I play my spotify playlist... It feels so nice to have spotify back again!
