OMG, I KNOW I DID AN ANNOUNCEMENT ON THIS, BUT LIKE I'M LITERALLY CRYING!!! I AM SO HAPPPPPPYYYY RIGHT NOW, YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW. THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT COMES OUT APRIL 19TH!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEE!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!
(Also April 19th must mean something! I need to find out! Please help me figure it out! 4/19/24! What could it possibly mean!?)

Zelda's POV:

As soon as I see Link start to move his hand... I know I'm not just seeing things. I quickly step back into the bathroom and slam the door closed. I lean my back against the door and stare up at the ceiling. Oh my Hylia... how long has he been there? I just said my tampon was too big... right in front of him! This... has to be one of the worst days of my life. I can't go out there now! He's probably so disgusted with me right now! Ughhh! Ow! I slide down onto the cold, hard tile... still grasping my stomach. "This is actually awful!" I say hitting the back of my head against the door... tears rolling down my cheeks.

"Zelda? Are you okay in there?" I hear Impa say from the other side of the door.

"Mmhmm... I'm fine." I lie. I'm not fine! I'm humiliated... Hylia! I should've looked down the hallway first... I would've told Impa to come into the bathroom and then ask her. So no one would here me. So Link wouldn't hear me!

Link's POV:

As soon as Zelda closes the door, I hear a loud bang from inside the bathroom.

"Zelda? Are you okay in there?" Impa asks Zelda through the bathroom door.

I can hear Zelda talking but I can't understand what she's saying. I feel kind of bad... she probably didn't want me to over hear her talking about... tampons, and her period.

"Ok... but don't you need a tampon?" Impa asks Zelda. The bathroom door cracks open, and Zelda's hand reaches through to door, and Impa hands her what is probably a tampon. Zelda takes it, retracts her hand, and closes the door. "Just let me know if you need anything, ok? I'll be right out here." Impa says as she turns away from the door. That's when she spots me in the hallway. "Oh! Link... uh hi!" She says awkwardly, while waving her hand.

"Um, hey Impa... uh what's up?" I say... trying to avoid the fact that I have been listening to their whole conversation.

"Nothing much. Just waiting for the bathroom..." she says, as she looks towards the girls bathroom, when it suddenly opens... making Impa jump a little. Hilda.

"Oh... hi. I hope I'm not interrupting anything." Says Hilda, as she gives me a wink.

"Um... no nothing at all. I was just waiting for the bathroom." Impa says, her tone still very awkward.

"Oh... well, it's open now. Sorry I took so long... I had to reapply my makeup. I didn't want to look like a train wreck." She says with a small laugh as she tosses her hair back.

"Oh... well. Thank you." Impa says as she makes her way into the girls bathroom.

Once Impa is gone, Hilda walks up to me and says, "So... what are you doing over here?"

"Just waiting for my girlfriend." I say coolly. I know we've only been on one date, but I feel like I can call Zelda that... maybe not to her face yet, but to other people... and in my head. Plus... I like that it upsets Hilda.

"Your... girlfriend? You and her?" Hilda asks, pointing to the girls bathroom.

"No, see you we're taking too long in the bathroom... doing Hylia knows what, so I told her to use the boys bathroom." I say shaking my head.
