In the Mirror

Zelda's POV:

Ok... well I guess it's official now... I'm going on a date with Link. I'm going... on a date... with Link. It just sounds so weird! I have never been on a date before... Oh my Hylia! If Father finds out he will kill me! And what is he going to think when I say I'm going to a football game on Friday? And that I might stay out a bit later than usual? He probably won't let me go... unless... I tell him I'm going with Impa and Purah! I'm pretty sure he likes them! My phone buzzes in my pocket making all my thought disappear. I pull it out to find a text from... who would've thought... my Father. I open and read it.

*Young Lady. I don't know why you are acting like this, but this attitude of yours needs to stop. I saw that you read my text message, but you didn't even bother to answer. If you keep this up, your grounded. I'll see you when you get home.* 

I stare in shock at my Father's message. Grounded? I have never been grounded in my life! I can't get grounded... but how will I prevent him from grounding me, if he won't even tell me what I'm doing wrong? He says I'm hiding things from him, but he won't give me the chance to tell him things. Well... I actually wasn't going to tell anybody about Ganon... but I did end up telling a few people. I was going to tell him where I was last night but he didn't even give me the chance, because when I got home he was rummaging through my room trying to find evidence to use against me. Not only that... but he never asks about my day... or how I'm feeling. Does he even care for me at all? I don't even think he does... all he cares about is his reputation. He can't have a "disappointment" as a daughter. He may not care about me... but Mother did. Mother never yelled at me or rummaged through my room. She always was there to comfort me when I had a bad day... When she was alive... Father was more caring as well. I wish I could find someone as comforting as Mother... wait... I know! Urbosa! Once school is over, I will go to the track! I will talk to her about my problems. Don't get me wrong! I love Impa and Purah... but their dad isn't like Father... he doesn't really care what they do, as long as their happy, they wouldn't understand what I'm going through. 

My thoughts are interrupted when I almost run into someone. I was ranting to myself so much that I wasn't even paying attention to where I was going. I look up at the boy I almost ran into. he looks very familiar... 

"Oh... it's you..." He says sounding very annoyed. Oh, it's just Revali. "How was your little get together with Link?" He says folding his arms. 

"What?" I ask wondering if he's referring to yesterday's get together or what just happened a few seconds ago. 

"You and Link were just talking out there under the bleachers... what were you guys talking about." He asks.

"Why do you want to know?" I ask a little confused. "From what I saw yesterday, you don't really like Link." 

"Fine, don't tell me. It's not like I care anyways." He says a bit frustrated. He then quickly walks away from me... Well that was weird. 

I walk to the library again, hoping I don't run into any familiar faces. I reach the library and go to sit down at the long mahogany table. It doesn't seem like very many people come in here, because... well... there's no one in here. I sit down in a chair along the long table and pull out my Hylian Government and my Biology homework.

An hour passes and 5th period ends, I still have one more period until school is over... and Urbosa probably isn't free yet... she's probably prepping the workout for her team. Urbosa is the coach for the cross country and track team. I wonder if Link does either of those... he runs pretty fast.  I finished my Government homework... thank goodness. I don't know how I'm going to survive that class for the rest of the year... it's so boring. If only I could just take English and Biology... and maybe Environmental science.
