Fresh after the rain autumn air went through Jisung's lungs, refreshing his mind in the process. Last night he struggled to get a good night's sleep when his mind kept reminding him of the previous day and a specific person. A person he tried to avoid at all cost.
The bluehead took a look at his surroundings. There weren't many people outside because for some reason they don't like rain as if they were sugar cubes, ready to melt at the slight touch of raindrops. He never understood those people. Rain heals him.
He reached his black jeep, turned on the engine and drove to the place he knew by heart. A place full of tears and sorrow. The cemetery.
With a pink rose in his hand, Jisung walked closer to Angela's grave. He felt his heart squeeze. It wasn't anything new. He was convinced it will stay like this forever.
Angela Mendoza. 2002-2023.
"Hey," he mumbled while trying to swallow a lump in his throat. His eyes were starting to burn and ready to be filled with tears. Jisung didn't bother stopping them, knowing no one was here so early in the morning.
"I brought you your favorite flower." He sniffed. "You never told me which color was your favorite but...with the help of Google I found that pink roses mean friendship so..." He squatted down to place the rose on the grave. A tear fell down on the rose, it slid down its petals and the grave ground absorbed it.
From the corner of his eye he saw some white material move. He shifted to see it better. It was one of those flower circles used on funerals with the loved ones' names on it. He smiled weakly and walked towards it, examining the names on it.
Her mom, father and little brother. Even her dog was there. He chuckled at that slightly. Then he saw his name and Jeongin's, Chan's and...Minho's.
Anger. How could someone dare to add her killer on the list?!
Jisung felt his breathing quicken and then it felt as if his mind traveled somewhere. He was still at the grave but also not. Suddenly, he saw himself, the balcony, Angela and him.

Jisung was casually strolling to their hotel after a long evening practice. He took extra of his time to visit one of Angela's favorite candy shops and buy her one pack of sour candies she enjoyed so much. He assumed Angela was already back from her hangout with Minho and her friends she found on the tour. Jisung lifted his head at the balcony from Minho's hotel room and saw light coming out of his room with two silhouettes standing next to each other.
Before he could assume anything or call out to them, the balcony door slammed open and everything happened too fast for Jisung to process. He heard Angela's high pitched scream and saw her figure falling out of the balcony and straight on some stranger's car. The fall made the window glass shatter everywhere and left her limbs in uncomfortably looking positions.
Jisung stared at her still figure with wide eyes and suddenly he heard a voice above him, from the balcony. He slowly lifted his head up and felt his breath get caught in his throat. Minho was leaning over the balcony, watching everything from above with a shocked expression. Maybe even fearful. He kept looking at Angela's still body and at Jisung back and forth as if he was struggling to wrap up the situation in his head.
It didn't take a lot for Jisung to connect the dots but all that mattered right now was to call the ambulance.
When they arrived he insisted on driving with them but they said family only. He kept insisting so they told him to contact 911 and stay on the line till they knew more about her state. He only wanted to know if she was going to be okay.
