The sky was getting darker and the lights outside their hotel window turned worthy of being captured by a camera.
Jisung wasn't paying attention to the window, though. Instead, he had his eyes stuck on his phone screen, giggling here and there.
He was chatting with his new friend, Lee Felix. They met on instagram so Felix was aware of his job and earned Jisung's trust by not telling every person he knows that he's friends with a celebrity.
At the moment they were changing song lyrics of random Disney songs and turned them to be hilarious. It got Jisung laughing with no sound and kicking his feet.
Unfortunately, all good things come to an end.
His phone got snatched from his hands out of blue. He snapped his head at the culprit and saw Minho, already typing something on Jisung's phone."Dude, what the fuck?" He tried getting it back but with his damned fast reflexes it was difficult to do so. The guy moved the phone away until Han let his hand fall back on his thighs and Minho got back to typing.
"Give me my phone back. You're the one who asked for privacy. Hypocrite." Jisung got up on his knees and tried once more to grab it and he almost had it. Almost. He slumped back to sit on his legs.
Minho looked unbothered by everything. By the movement of his thumb he looked like he pressed send and dropped the phone near Jisung's legs.
Jisung quickly checked his messages and gasped. Then glared at Minho.
"'Get lost. I have work to do'? Seriously? Now I have three things to say. First, was all that essay-long typing necessary for this short text? Second, don't take my stuff unasked and most importantly, third, don't live my life for me. You seriously haven't changed. You didn't want me hanging out with her and now you're telling my new friend to 'get lost'?"
He hoped for the older to say something but he just stood still, watching him. Weirdo.
"Something's wrong with you. No one's going to like you if you keep this up."
Somehow, Jisung's words caused a reaction from Minho. His emotionless facade let out a bit of anger.
"If I keep up what, Jisung?"
"You know. This emotionless act. You look and sound like a real asshole. Show some feelings sometimes, people like it."
"Tch, don't blame me. Blame the people who made me this way," Minho said and crossed his arms.
"What people? Your parents?" Shit. shouldn't have said that.
"Yeah. Them. So what?" he answered coldly.
"Everyone has their own problems. You don't see me or Chan or Jeongin acting like you are."
Then Minho made a quick step forward. A move of intimidation. And it sure was working. Jisung gulped."Don't compare me to others. Especially Chan and Jeongin. Those two were fucking taught as a child to take care of others first and act happy when they're not. While I was just fucking invisible. Don't ever compare me to others because you don't know what it's like. Got it?"
Jisung knew he was expected to nod but he didn't. He just scoffed.
"Invisible? Dude, that doesn't sound so bad. Try having parents call you by slurs and stuff-shit." A sudden rough push from Minho made Jisung lose his footing and fall onto the bed. Now, looking at an angry Minho from the bed made him look quite scary.
"I repeat, don't compare me to other people. You included. Am I clear?"
Jisung looked to the side instead. He didn't want to lose this just because Minho looked fine.
