TRIP TO JAPAN, TOKYO
Time until destination: 20 hoursOctober 1st, the first day of Forget Me Not world tour. Two weeks had passed after the fight. Jisung barely spoke to Minho. The only time the two saw each other was at practice and at bed time. From time to time they bumped into each other by accident which only resulted in Jisung sending Minho a glare and the older one walking away like nothing happened.
A week ago Jisung got trapped in the kitchen by a shatteredplate and Minho pissed him off by not helping him out.
Without the constant effort of avoiding Minho, he also had to put up with Chan's and especially Jeongin's frequent questions about the fight. Like a broken radio, asking over and over again.
The four sleepy band members climbed in the tour bus, Jeongin was texting on his phone, barely watching his steps, Chan was in a conversation with the manager and Minho made himself as invisible as possible, sat down on the furthest part of the bus and began applying make-up on his almost faded bruise.
Jisung saw his members do their own thing so he simply chose to do the same and not disturb them. He sat far away from Minho, near the driver but he barely had time to make himself comfortable when a group of staff workers climbed in and told him to sit near his members. In this case, in front of Minho.
Jisung huffed and heavily plopped down on the cushioned seat, stretching his legs out.
The tour bus was spacious, it even had a bedroom and a toilet with a shower. If not the constant pits they drove over that made his ass ache, he would love to spend the rest of the tour inside it.
But lucky to his ass, they were only going to use this transportation for Japan and the rest will be on an airplane, flying to Europe and America.
He suddenly felt a kick to his foot and lifted his head from his phone to face a grumpy Minho.
"What?" Jisung snapped.
"Stop stretching your legs like that. I need space too." Jisung rolled his eyes but complied anyway, hoping to avoid any more conversations with this guy.
He turned back to his phone and opened the messaging app. Over those two weeks the unknown number hasn't texted again.
At first he was relieved but as time passed by he began to worry that something wrong would happen.
To distract his mind he pulled out his headphones and played their newest album songs. His fingers played with imaginable guitar, running over the chords he used to have trouble with. Jisung perfected everything yet he still found the need to practice even more.
That's how an artist improves, he always thinks to himself. A mindset of constant improvement. There's always something to get better at.
After Jisung ran over the playlist two times he opened his eyes when a movement was felt near his seat and then there was someone sitting next to him.
From the corner of his eye he caught on brown cargo pants material and sighed deeply, knowing who's sitting near him.
"Go back to your seat," he told Minho but the he didn't budge.
Jisung's ears were starting to ache from the pressure of his headphones so he took them off, leaving them around his neck. Minho took that as an invitation to have a chat.
"Remember that time at the beach? The one you saw on my lockscreen. All of us had so much fun that day. Especially us." Minho tapped on his phone, showing him his lockscreen. Jisung couldn't help but look at the photo until the screen fell asleep.
