In the gentle breeze of time, our love's a work of art,
Promise me you won't forget, we'll never be apart.
In the rhythm of our days, our story won't be lost,
Like a "forget me not," forever in your thoughts.Hold me close, and promise you'll remember,
In the darkest nights, in every cold December.
Our love's a flame that'll never fade away,
Forever in your heart, it's where I'll always stay."Hold up! Stop the music," Jisung yelled over the loud melody dancing in the room. Chan gave him a confused look but stopped and placed his drumsticks on his legs, Jeongin seemed slightly unsatisfied with such a sudden music cut but didn't complain and used the short break to soothe his throat with tea.
Jisung glared at the male who wasn't paying attention for a while now. Chan and Jeongin followed his eyes and saw Minho who was not reacting to his surroundings, only staring at his damned phone like the love of his life was stuck inside it.
The guitarist rolled his eyes and with big steps walked up to him but not close enough to catch his attention just yet. He turned to his two puzzled friends.
"The song doesn't sound right," he stated and almost immediately received valid surprise and shock. They've been practicing for over half a month so the songs should already be perfect.
Jisung continued, "Jeongin, your voice is amazing. I have no complaints. We should totally give you more lines in the future."
Then he turned to the oldest. "Chan, your drums are great too. But this guy," he pointed at Minho, "was supposed to sing the chorus and what we get instead is an instrumental break." He scoffed.
Minho still seemed to be lost in the depths of his phone even when the music was off so Jisung stepped closer to him and before the older could react he snatched the phone away from his hands and stepped away.
"Hey!" Minho reached for his phone but with no success. Jisung ignored his annoyed state and walked towards one of the royal-blue chairs and plopped on one of them.
He made himself comfortable by throwing his leg over another and leaning back, pretending that an angry Minho wasn't coming his way.
"The tour is in 2 weeks and you're not focusing," Jisung scolded with an unhappy expression.
"What was so interesting in this, anyway?" He flipped the phone and pressed the side button. Immediately the phone lit up and a lock screen wallpaper came to his view.
He saw himself...getting a piggyback from Minho. Pure joy radiated from both of them. The sun shone brightly above them, drying their water drenched clothes.
Jisung remembered it being taken 4 years ago, the band was on a short trip to the beach and he got into a playful fight with Minho over the last piece of watermelon. They wrestled until they fell into the sea.
Chan took a photo once they got back to the shore and Jisung jumped on Minho's back to tackle him but ended up getting a piggyback.
Before Jisung could stare at it for any longer, Minho snatched the phone away, looked at him with an unreadable expression and walked back to his position.
Jisung could tell Minho's expression had some mixed emotions. Anger, fear and maybe even worry? Nah.
The bluehead shook his head with a smile at his foolish thoughts and with his favorite guitar in hand he walked back to his position.
Maybe the lock screen was just a random pick. It meant nothing.
"Okay, no more distractions." Jisung threw the guitar strap over his shoulder and glanced to his left at Minho who was fixing his microphone stand.
