When Jeongin and Chan left the bar.

"Hey! Minho and Jisung don't have a car, how will they get back?!" Jeongin hurriedly asked and shook Chan's hand off his wrist. They stopped in the middle of a parking lot. Only one other person could be seen walking but other than that it was quiet. No one usually walks around this late.

"They'll be fine. Minho is smart enough not to get drunk and he'll take care of Jisung. Now let's go home." He reached for the younger again but he stepped back and crossed his arms.

"No. You have to tell me why you're acting like this first," Jeongin said and scrunched his nose at the unusual behavior he was seeing. He slightly turned his head to the side when a stranger's car's lights lit up. They both moved out of the way for the car to drive past and then Jeongin gave him a look that he was waiting for an answer.

Chan sighed. "I was worried, okay? And I didn't like the way he acted with you, he doesn't have a right to do so. And yeah he apologized to you and you said it was okay and he's our good friend so I know he wouldn't do that on purpose but I just..."

"Just what?" Jeongin had a feeling why he was acting this way but he wasn't sure. The way his body language showed jealousy wasn't obvious but not impossible to notice.

"Nevermind. That doesn't matter right now. You know what does?" Chan asked and looked like he was ready to open up a lock in his heart that he kept closed for a long time. A dusted old lock, begging to be opened.

Jeongin hummed and Chan stepped closer. "What matters is getting answers from you. I want to know why you're acting this way, why you're hiding your true self."

"Hiding myself? What, I'm not," Jeongin laughed awkwardly.

"Why do you look at me the way you do? Why do you try to stay with me all the time? The dorm bedrooms, the hotel rooms, the hang outs. Tell me why and don't say that friends do that. Because this is different." Jeongin looked at him as if he was in a dream. He didn't get where all of this was coming from.

"What do you want me to say, Chan...Do I need to have a reason to spend time with you?"

"Yes! You can't tell me you act like this and don't feel anything. You can't tell me you don't think about me all day and all night, that you don't feel anything when our skin touches because I do! I feel weird sparkles when you're close and I think of you and how beautiful your laugh is and all of that. So stop avoiding it and tell me how you feel, Jeongin."

"I think you're mistaken, hyung. You must be thinking about me because of work and the... sparkles you feel when we touch are just because you love to cuddle, don't you think? So, don't say things like that so easily, Channie." Jeongin lowered his head and picked on his nail skin. He knew very well that the things Chan described was everything he felt as well. But he couldn't admit it.

"No, Jeongin, listen-"

"No, no. You're confused, hyung. Minho and Jisung are probably on your mind too but you worry about me more because I'm the youngest. You should really stop working so much and get more sleep and eat more and stop worrying so much. We can handle ourselves. And once you get more sleep we can talk more about-" His ranting was cut short when Chan cupped his face and smashed their lips together. The younger widened his eyes but soon closed them, leaning into the kiss.

It ended shortly as the older pulled away and with an emotional tone he said, "Can't you see that I love you?!"

Jeongin felt shocked but without a single word he fell into his arms, hugging him tight. Without hesitation Chan hugged him back just as tight. Jeongin cuddled his face in his neck. "I thought I'd never hear you say that," he said in a hushed tone, hugging him tighter.
