Ch 25 - Another Time

Back in Mondstadt, Diluc finishes making the wine at his home, the Dawn Winery, as Kaeya walks up to him, smiling

"Is Aether and Paimon gone?" Diluc nods as Kaeya sighs, then looks up at the bright sky, keeping his smile

Kaeya: It seems the enemies have returned to their "duties"

Diluc: I noticed

Kaeya: Will we see Aether again?

Diluc: I'm sure he will come back, but for now, let us pray and hope his journey to find his sister is going well

Kaeya: *chuckles* I'm sure he'll be fine. He is the Honorary Knight, no?

Diluc: And my helper

Kaeya: Right

As the brothers helped each other with making the wine, Diluc stares afar, feeling the cool wind as he decides to have a walk

He heads towards the giant tree at Windrise, where he spots the same bard, resting by the tree as Diluc sighs, "Venti, wake up."

Venti groans, "Oh...come on...Oh! Diluc! What brings you here?" Diluc sits down as he sighs

Diluc: Barbatos...will Aether be ok?

Venti: I'm sure. I gave him my blessing myself!

Diluc: Even so, I assume he has had some troubles during his journey

Venti: I'm sure he has, and even so, he can handle it

Diluc: True, but... I just hope that his journey to the Seven Nations won't be a waste

Venti: I'm sure it won't. He has it all covered. Especially since he can control the elements without a Vision, he is fine

Diluc nods as he chuckles softly, and bows politely, "Thank you, Barbatos." He leaves as Venti smiles, and lays back down, continuing his rest

Diluc has been working, and worried for Aether. Mondstadt was still the same as ever, with people talking, shopping, and children laughing, bards singing their songs, the sisters of the church praying at the Barbatos Statue, and the smell of food and wine lingering the city

It was back to normal, but even so, Diluc knew trouble was always here. Even after months passing since his whole curse fiasco, he managed to rekindle with his adoptive brother

If it wasn't for the curse, if it wasn't for Aether, if it wasn't for Barbatos and the help of the ones who remembered him, he wouldn't have been able to make up for what he had done in his past

Diluc might've ignored and stayed being rude to Kaeya once more, if it hadn't been for the troubles that had occurred

He hears Kaeya call him, as both brothers stare out into the horizon

Kaeya: Someday, we'll travel along with him

Diluc: We've already been to Sumeru, and me to Liyue by accident

Kaeya: Don't forget we have Inazuma, Fontaine, Natlan, and Snezhnaya

Diluc: Ah...true...I'm not sure if I'll be welcomed in Snezhnaya

Kaeya: How come? Keeping secrets from me?

Diluc: You know it

Kaeya: I'll find sooner or later

Diluc: Another time, dear brother...another time...

Both brothers head back to the Dawn Winery, as their maids greet them, happy the brothers have finally made up, and happy to have the family back together

ALL DONE!!

I am so sorry for the long wait! But the story has finally ended!!

To make it up for you all, now that I have a computer, send me requests of any genre of writing I should do!

I will make them short, but still long writings, like 1000 words or more long, since I love typing and all

I will work on the first request, and the rules are that they will be at least 10 chapters short, or 15 if I want to or if I can

I hope you all enjoyed this story, despite me being busy in the military, but finally, it has been completed
