Magic Training with Sue isn't as bad as I thought. She is a very nice lady. She taught me that magic is only 10% talent and 90% attitude. Because of my low self esteem, Sue believes that we must first raise my positive attitude before we start any real training. Despite my warnings that I only have 6 months until I face Romelle, she assured me it was more than enough time to get ready. I hope she's right.
Yoga is not actually as bad___ as it sounded. I learned that there are many types of yoga: water, earth, fire, air, and ether. I'm confused because I don't control any of these elements? We started with earth this week. Earth is associated with grounding, stability, and strength. We had to hold uncomfortable poses. There was even a time when we had to balance on one leg for 5 breaths. I sucked.
Oh, and my other mentor is Cyan Rhodes. When we first met, I accidentally mistook him as a girl. He has long hair, hoop earrings, and has a very girly face. He's even taller than me! But skinnier and has a raspier voice.
With therapy, I did some self esteem activities with Meyer. It also made me feel better to write letters for my classmates to make their days, but I haven't given them out yet. I'm not so good with words like Saiyah. So I'll draw them pictures too in art, I'm a good drawer.
Survival Skills with Rhodes was good, we got to go camping this week and survive in the wilderness without relying on our magic. It's hard to build a fire without using my sparks to start it. Instead Rhodes taught me how to use flint and steel, which was pretty cool. Overall, I like Rhodes. He's really cool, funny, and has such an awesome sense of fashion! I aspire to be as fabulous as him.
