Author here.  Holy crap I did not expect this to pop off this quick.  I just posted it yesterday for christ's sake and it's already got more reads and votes than my other stories COMBINED.  Hot damn.

So anyways,  I'm going to try my best to write regularly, but no promises, and I'm also going to try to write 2500 - 3000 words per chapter, but again, no promises.

Anyways, Enjoy the chapter.

(Future Author here: It starts as 2500 - 3000 but eventually becomes 3500+  and is like 6000+ for a good while...)

-The beginning of the chapter brought to you by a Chibi Captain playing games with Bronya-

Y/n: "....----iiiiIIIIIT-!"

Y/n gets the wind knocked out of him as he collides with a polished black marble floor, surprisingly breaking no bones but definitely feeling the pain.

Y/n: "owwwww... why do they have to fucking drop kick me through things and ghrififmmjigbfmm (incomprehensible grumbling)"

Y/n grumbles as he rolls over and begins to stand up, looking around to see the beautiful room he's in.  The walls are a golden-beige color, with a rose and thorn pattern scattered throughout it.  Golden plates in the shapes of the sun drape down from the top of the walls.  Black marble with white cracks cover the floor.  Within the large room, about twenty meters away, is a wooden desk with a very tired looking man sitting at it, typing away.

Y/n:  "Damn... It's like I stepped into the Chrysler building."

With nothing better to do, Y/n decides to walk up to the desk, and he gets a closer look at the man.  He looks identical to Future Y/n with a few noticeable changes though.  He has the same blue cloak with the white faux fur, but instead of robes under it, its a black tuxedo and bow tie.  He wears some thin, square-frame glasses on his nose.  His eyes aren't the same galaxy swirl that Future Y/n had.  Instead, his eyes are the image of a total solar eclipse, with brilliant orange solar flares coming out of the supposed 'sun' of his irises.  The most notable thing on his face however, was the giant, dark, black bags under his eyes.  Said bags were hanging down to the tops of his cheeks, stopping right above where his nose ends.

Y/n: "Jesus man... Are you ok?"

???: "I haven't slept for 3 years, and when I did it was for 20 minutes.  So no.  I'm not ok."

The tired man speaks in the same way that Y/n speaks, but in a much lower, tired, crankier, and monotone voice.

???: "You must be the new guy.  Cycle-1657-A, right?"

Y/n: "Uhhhhhh.... I think?"

The tired Y/n stares at him blankly, like the Captain Y/n was stupid or something.

Tired Y/n: "Good enough for me I guess."

Sleepy Y/n sighs.

The Receptionist: "Guess I have to do my job now... I'm Cycle-0001-Omega  But call me 'The Receptionist'.  I'm going to be your guide through this place."

Y/n: "Oh... ok then... thank you, I guess?"

The Receptionist: "You're welcome.  Now come with me."

The Receptionist stands up and steps out from behind a desk, and he opens another portal, that leads to what looks like a small busy city.  Y/n decides to follow through as that The Receptionist immediately walks through it.

Y/n takes a step through and feel the temperature in the air change to be much cooler, a small gust of wind blows by as a train rushes by behind him, blowing his crimson hair a little.  As he looks around, he sees many other copies of himself, all wearing blue cloaked capes, and having red hair but all having slight differences than one another.  Most were male but there were a couple Y/n's that had long red hair and had a curvier body.  This pointed to the thought that they were female versions of him.  As if the obvious and large, prominent breasts on their chests weren't a dead giveaway already.  But another one walked by him, that looked like a little girl, red twin-tails and a grumpy look on her face.

Y/n:  "Woah... what is this place?"

Y/n gasped and his mouth hung open as he looked at the neon-lit structures of the city around him.  The buildings had giant TV screens on them but instead of displaying advertisements for products, they were displaying notifications for new releases on games, videos, music, and all sorts of things.  Y/n could understand why of course.  It was because he hated advertisements.

The Receptionist: "Welcome to New Ark City.  This is the train station, it takes you all around the city.  The Dorms, The Gates, The Cafeteria.  It's basically paradise for all Y/n-kind."

Y/n: "This looks so familiar.  The train station looks like the one that I used to ride with Kiana, Mei, and Bronya on.  And the city kind of looks like Ark City!"

The Receptionist: "That's the point.  They're near exactly identical to their original counterparts, with slight changes to make them more convenient for us."

The Receptionist makes a 'follow me' gesture towards Y/n and he walks off towards a train that was boarding.  After getting on the train, Y/n and The Receptionist hang onto a bar as the train starts.  Going as fast as a bullet train, if not faster, Y/n sees the city out of the window become a blur of blue, purple, green, and red.
