Cold. That's all I'd felt. A cold flake landed on my face. I flinched back and opened my eyes. Its bright and cold. I quickly sat up and felt my head. I looked around and took note of my surroundings. My house is in ashes but still smoking. The only things I grabbed was the bunny, a few clothes, my throwing knives, and I grabbed my necklace...and before my house fucking exploded, I grabbed one other thing...shit! Where's Pazzo? I quickly sat up. "Here kitty kitty! Pazzo!" No luck. There's nothing around me other than mountains and forest.
"HELP!" I screamed. The cool calm breeze stopped. I waited for an answer and only heard the vast whispers of the voices in my head. "Stay here, don't worry Stella, we're almost there. Come with me," I heard a voice suggest. "Hello?" I waited. As no one answers I walked on. The wind stopped once more. I stood and waited. The ground viciously shook and trees fell. Giant trees. I ran as fast as I could and the ground below me split and burning  flames from the gates of hell opened...metaphorically speaking. It stopped. Time stopped, the shaking stopped, the wind stopped, everything froze. A loud atomic bomb went off. I flew back as dark green mushroom clouds surrounded me. A loud screaming figure came out if the fault with many other dead looking figures. I pulled out my knives, ready in stance. A smaller dead figure came to lunge at me. It was still big. It was black and tall with the bright red eyes. I was locked in a trance and it picked me up and opened its mouth. The jaw unhinged and the longest toothpick teeth, sharper than any razor. Scratched my cheek.
A rustle in the bushes came about and the creature stopped. A giant distorted figure came out of the bushes and gave a loud screeching roar. The thing threw me down and the roaring creature, white and brown swatted it with the paw of a cat. The puddle of fluid from whatever came out of the ground had tufts of fur around it and the piece of a kitty ear. That's what was left of my dear friend, and pet Pazzo. I got teary eyed as the distorted figure, big and scary, turned with a snarl and looked me in the eyes.
It looked like a torn beast. The glowing yellow eyes, the bloody fur and the slimy acid dripping from the torn ear. "Pazzo?" She snarled and opened her mouth. Fuck it, I'm gonna die here anyway. I stuck my arm out and rested my hand on her nose. Immediately, she sat silent, sat, and looked at my face, her expression relaxed.. I opened my eyes and looked in my now radioactive cat. Her eyes softened as she picked me up by my hoodie and carried me off as if she knew where she was going.
