The moon was the only witness of his past and present. Third, looked at the silver disc in the sky, silently praying for it to tell him all the secrets. The scraps of memories lingering in his head popped up now and there, but most of them were still covered by the grey mist.
"Don't think too hard about the past," Khai whispered as he buried his nose into his neck. The shivers ran down Third's spine with the familiar touch.
"The past would reveal itself." He added. Third nodded, but he wasn't paying attention to Khai's words. His touch was way too distracting.
"I just..." Third, attempted to answer, but his mate's light kisses on his bare skin melted his brain into the puddle.
"Stop thinking. Be happy your friend brought us together again. Let's enjoy our present. Everything else can wait." Khai whispered against his jaw.
"Yeah..." Third, exhale. "I should think how to show Two my gratitude." He added before Khai's lips brushed against his.
