Author's note: Part 17/??

Sean dragged himself towards the bikes, sighing at the unfinished job from yesterday. He was tired from lack of sleep and constant thinking about his cute demon and their first date. Sean was nervous as hell. Suppressing a yawn, he plopped before the disassembled motorbike and buried his hands inside.

"Hi. Where are the demon twins?" Gram's voice disturbed him from working.

"In their room." Sean shrugged.

"Okay." Gram nodded. Sean glanced at him, feeling somehow uneasy. The look on his friend's face didn't sit well with him. There was something weird about him. Now that he thought of it, Gram was supposed to be at University.

"You okay, Gram? Did something happen?" Sean stood up, cleaning his dirty hands with the rug. Gram ignored him and went further inside the garage. Sean followed him without hesitation. Something encouraged him not to let his friend get closer to the twin's room. Blocking Gram's way, he spoke loud enough for the two demons to hear him.

"Why the sudden interest in the twins?"

"Not your problem." Gram snapped, glaring at him. Sean shivered as the dark, familiar aura surrounded him. This wasn't Gram. Whoever impersonated him was here for White and Black. Sean grabbed the intruder's arm, not letting him move further. The stranger chuckled, shaking off his hand before he pushed him. The impact made Sean fly a few metres away. He barely held himself on his feet, eyes widened. So this was another demon. Sean glanced at the closed door, thinking. He knew he wouldn't stand a chance against this creature, but at least he could try. Taking a deep breath, Sean was ready to protect White with his life.

The door behind him opened with a loud bang, revealing fuming Black. His horns were engulfed in red flames, and his eyes turned black. Sean was glad the anger wasn't directed at him this time. With one smooth move, Black appeared before the intruder, grabbed him by the neck, and lifted him from the ground.

"Pittiful minion." Black snickered before he squeezed the other demon's neck. Sean watched how the demon's body blackened and turned into a cloud of dust. The flickering light from Black's flames illuminated the garage walls. Sean let out a shaky exhale.

"Sean, are you alright?" White's soft voice echoed through the room. The second the younger twin appeared, Sean couldn't help himself and ran towards him, wrapping his long arms around White's petite waist. Maybe he should skip the dating part and jump straight to being White's demon companion so he could protect him.
