Author's note: Part 4/??

The bus stopped in front of the vast farm. The sounds from all the animals echoed across the space. Even the air smelled like them. Rome looked around, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings: green grass, the animal enclosures and the nearby wheat field. A small smile spread across his face as he enjoyed the change of scenery. There were no cars, bikes and hoards of people hurrying, only the peace and sounds of nature.

"It's nice here." Emma joined him. Rome nodded, knowing she had come to him only because her boyfriend was busy helping the club members.

"So, you befriended Din?" She asked again. Rome turned to her with a raised eyebrow.

"He started to talk to me. Should I have ignored him?"

"Don't be grumpy, Rome. I just asked." Emma rolled her eyes.

"I know." Rome sighed.

"I just... Am I that bad, Emma?" He asked, his eyes getting teary. Emma immediately understood.

"Pick is an idiot." She hugged him tightly. Rome nodded again.

"Emma, shorty, your luggage." Pick's annoyed voice separated them. Rome glanced at the older male. The frown from earlier still didn't disappear from his face. It should have made Rome happy, but instead, he felt concerned.

"Thank you, P'Pick." Rome reached for his baggage, but someone stole it before he could take it.

"Let me help you, Rome." Din smiled at him. It was a nice gesture, and Rome would have appreciated it anytime, but not now. He glanced at Pick worriedly. The wrinkles on his face deepened as he glared at Din.

"It's okay, P'Din. I can take it. Thank you." Rome tried to take his language, but his new acquaintance didn't let him.

"Nonsense. You shouldn't exert yourself in this hot weather." Din pushed the language forward, leaving Rome speechless and Pick even more angry. Suddenly, the thought of using Din to make his soulmate realize his feelings didn't seem like a good idea.
