Off allowed New to take Nirin and Akin to the kindergarten playground while Gun guided him around the building. The atmosphere between them was a little awkward. Off didn't like it, but at the same time, he wasn't sure how to break it.
"I am sorry about New. He can be overprotective." Gun broke the silence. Off glanced at him with a smile.
"It's okay. I understand him. " Off answered. They continued walking in silence again until Gun showed him his classroom. Off inspected every corner of the room, smiling as he looked at the pictures hanging on the board in the back.
"P'Off." Gun's sweet voice pulled his attention.
"Yes?"
"Are you sure about liking me?" Gun asked, his eyes drifting between Off and the floor. Off sighed before he stepped closer to the shorter male.
"I am pretty sure I like you." He grabbed Gun's hand, intertwining their fingers. He couldn't ask about the painful legacy of Gun's past without hurting the younger, and he certainly didn't want to persuade him. And he also knew Gun needed assurance about his feelings.
"And I want you to know, I won't force you to do anything you don't want to. The relationship is about two people and their feelings." Off lifted their joined hand and kissed the soft skin of Gun's hand.
"I don't deserve you." Gun's soft sobs made Off's heart ache. He pulled the younger to his chest, letting him hide his face in his shirt.
"You deserve a world, Gun." He whispered into his hair, holding him close as the cute kindergarten teacher cried.
