Author's note: Part 2/??

Rome looked at his packed suitcase and then at his watch. Emma was late, but strangely, Rome didn't mind. There was no need to rush to get yelled at or ignored by Pick. Sometimes, he wondered what he did in his past life to deserve a soulmate who hated him. Rome caressed the grey P on his wrist and sighed. At least the colour was still the same. The car honking surprised him, making him jump.

"Come on, Rome. We are late." Emma shouted from behind the wheel. Rome rolled his eyes, wheeling the suitcase to the car and putting it into the trunk.

"And who's fault it is?" He retorted as soon as he settled on the passenger seat.

"Whatever." Emma huffed and pulled off.

"Are we picking up P'Porsche?"

"Nope. Pick is picking him up."

Rome nodded, not commenting on it. There was an evident reason his soulmate didn't want to ride with them. They arrived at the campus in time. Emma was already out of the car, taking her suitcase out, but Rome hesitated. His eyes captured Pick. The older male helped the juniors get their things onto the bus. Fortunately, he wasn't spotted yet. Honestly, Rome feared Pick's reaction. He needed a plan not to anger him as soon as they saw each other.

"Get out." Emma opened the door at his side, dragging him out. There was nothing Rome could do now. His best friend's loud voice pulled attention to them. All the eyes were on them as they walked towards the bus. Porsche was busy directing the seating arrangement, so he only waved at them. Emma quickly pushed her baggage into Pick's arms and rushed to her boyfriend, leaving Rome alone with the older man. Roma patiently waited for Pick to tuck the suitcase in before handing him his own. Their hands brushed gently, sending electric sparks through his body.

Rome knew Pick felt it, too. There was no way he didn't.

"Get lost, shorty." Pick hissed.

And his words hurt Rome more than his cold stares.
