Step (Sean/White) - Devils in the House

Sean was done with reading. The change, though it sounded scary, wouldn't be that bad. At least it wouldn't be worse than his current life. But he wasn't sure if he was ready to be White's demon companion. He was attracted to the younger man, but what if they couldn't communicate? What if they don't have similar hobbies? The physical attraction wasn't everything. To take this step, he needed to know White better. With the final decision, he stood up from the couch and walked towards the twin's room. Sean knocked on the door, this time without hesitation. 

The door opened, and White's head peeked through the gap. 

"Sean?" 

"Hi, White. Can we talk?" Sean asked, peeking over his shoulder. White glanced back at his brother before nodding. He stepped out of the room, closing the door behind him. 

"Can we go somewhere more private?" Sean didn't fancy talking in the place where the angry gremlin could pounce on him anytime. 

"I think it's better to stay here. P'Black is not in a good mood. I need to stay nearby so he won't burn the place down, sorry." White bit his lower lip, which Sean found absurdly sexy. 

"Okay, so..." Sean didn't know where to start. 

"Is it about the demon companion?" 

"Yeah. I read through the whole thing, and honestly, it's scary. The change and everything." 

White nodded in agreement. Sean ignored the red flickering light coming from under the door before continuing.

"I am not saying no, but I want to date you first before we become one." Sean breathed out nervously. He looked at White, whose head was tilted to the side, confused. 

"Date? What is it?" The short demon asked, pouting unconsciously. 

"Oh. It's... How to put it... We hang out and talk to get to know each other." Sean explained. White's eyes lit up as if he understood.

"Can we hold hands, too?" He asked shyly. Sean nodded immediately, holding a grin threatening to show on his face. The loud growl echoed through the garage, startling them. 

"I should go back."

"Yes, go calm your brother down. It would be nice to still have a roof over our heads." Sean agreed. White opened the door, but Sean stopped him before he could disappear behind it. 

"Want to spend some time with me tomorrow?" 

"Yes, please." White smiled.

"I will pick you up, then." Sean grinned. The tiny demon nodded eagerly and went inside the room.
