The sun ascended, casting a warm glow upon the camp. Eren, still processing the revelation of the subterranean garden, felt a renewed sense of hope. As morning light bathed the world, he noticed the camp beginning to stir.
Jax, gesturing towards the others still nestled in their hammocks, whispered, "They don't know about the garden yet. It's our little secret until everyone's up."
Eren nodded, silently acknowledging the significance of the hidden oasis. As they walked through the camp, Jax began sharing stories about each member. Their struggles, triumphs, and the unique skills they brought to the group. It was a tapestry woven with threads of resilience and survival.
Approaching a cluster of cabins, Jax pointed to one and said, "That's Ben's place. He's our mechanic and tinkerer. Always finding a way to fix or improve things."
Next, they passed a bonfire where Leo was tending to the remnants of last night's feast. Jax grinned, "Our resident chef and provider. Leo's got a knack for hunting and cooking. Keeps our bellies full, morale high."
Further into the camp, they encountered Tiger practicing with a makeshift bow. Jax explained, "Tiger's our scout and hunter. If there's danger or game, he's the first to know."
As they navigated the camp, the stories painted a portrait of survival, camaraderie, and shared purpose. Eren began to feel a sense of belonging, a connection to these people who had weathered the same storm.
Eventually, they returned to the heart of the camp, where the others were starting to rouse. Jax looked at Eren with a knowing smile, "You're part of us now. Welcome to the family."
