Being a fan of long drives I enjoyed the ride from Gauteng to KZN. I love KZN because this is where my dad is from. This is where the Dlamini homestead is situated at and this is where my grandpa lives at. I haven't visited him in a long time.

"Why did we come to KZN?" I've been contemplating on asking him this question.

"I want to introduce you to the business that inspired me when growing up." Nkosinathi said while driving to some township. It's far from my grandparent's home.

"There is a digital marketing company somewhere here?" I looked outside the car's window at the darkness surrounding us.

"Not a digital marketing company." He chuckled. He finally parked in front of an establishment.

"What's this place?" Instead of replying,he just got out of the car and came to open my door.

"Welcome to KwaNjomane." He simply said. I got out of the car and looked around. We were in front of a complex. People were going in and out some with shopping bags while others were just holding their bags.

I followed Nkosinathi inside. There were different buildings and some were known stores.

We walked to a chisanyama and we sat down at one of the tables.

"I own 8% of this establishment." He said. A server came to our table.

"Hello Mr Mhlongo. What would you like to have today?" The woman asked.

"Can we have some pap and meat? Is that okay with you?" I nodded.

"What about drinks?" She wrote our order down.

"A mocktail would do for me." I blurted the first drink that was on the menu in front of me.

"A beer for me, please." The lady left our table.

"You said you own eight percent here? Did you buy it?" I think Nkosinathi is more rich than he let on. It's not that I'm happy that he he's rich but he's so humble and he's like a mystery. I keep unraveling bits and pieces of him.

"It was gifted to me on my 21st birthday. This is the chisanyama that I told you about the other day. Today it's not just a chisanyama but it's a complex and there are different buildings inside." He seemed proud to talk about his family business.

"Your family owns all of this buildings?"

"Nope. We are renting the space." What a great idea. No wonder he's a great businessman. I can learn a lot from him.

"Okay."

Our orders came. Their service is great. It took them less than ten minutes to deliver.

"Thank you." I thanked the lady who served us. She just gave me a short smile and walked away.

I started digging in and their meat is amazing. I'll definitely try to come here oftenly.

"This is amazing." I commented on the meat.

"Do you think our chef can beat your dad?" He teased.

"Never. My dad is a star. He's on a league of his own." I trust my dad's cooking skills.

"It's very clear you're a daddy's girl."

"Don't tell me you just figured that out from me defending my dad?"

"I've figured that out from a lot of things. Can you guess what I am?"

"You definitely looks like a mommy's little boy." He does.
