𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄

I woke up in an unknown environment. Last night I crashed in at Nkosinathi's childhood home. I guess this is where I am. I took my phone from the nightstand and looked at the time. Nine thirty in the morning it read. I had two missed calls. One from mom the other from Dad.

I decided to call Dad first.

"Cupcake, why didn't you answer your call? I was about to call again."

"Dad relax. I'm doing okay. I was tired and fell asleep hence I didn't hear you call."

Someone knocked on the door. Already guessing who it is. I decided to let him in."Come in!"

The door opened revealing Nkosinathi who was looked ready to go. He placed a cup of coffee on the nightstand and some cupcakes.

"When are you coming back?" Dad, still on the line asked.

"Probably today. I'm actually at KZN."

"Tell that boy of yours that he can't sleep with you without paying lobola." Hopefully Nkosinathi didn't hear that. My parents can embarass you.

"Dad!" I warned him.

"What? I didn't stutter."

"Dad, I'll see you at home. Say hi to everyone. Bye." I hung up.

"I heard everything by the way." Nkosinathi said.

"You were not supposed to hear that."

"But I did. I brought you something to eat before we leave. I need to be back at work soon." He gestured to the coffee and cupcakes.

"Thank you boyfriend." I teased him.

"You're welcome, girlfriend." He winked and walked out of the room.

Instead of eating the cupcakes I walked out of the room holding them while I was having my coffee.

"I don't feel hungry. Can we pass by the mall? I want to buy something to wear." I told Nkosinathi who was sitting down at the lounge probably waiting for me.

"Okay. We can go." He took his car keys and I followed him outside where his car was parked. We got in and he drove to the mall.

I went inside a clothing store with Nkosi tailing me. I picked up a white dress and went to try it on. It fitted me perfectly since it was my size. I took a mirror picture before I walked out.

"I love that dress on you." Nkosi complimented.

"Thank you. Let's go pay." I took out my card but he stopped me.

"I'll pay." He offered.

"You don't have to. This dress is too much affordable. I can pay for it." The dress just costed R150. It was just a simple wear dress.

"I insist." We walked further to the till and he paid for the dress.

Instead of going to the parking lot he took me to MacDonald. I don't care how many people don't like MacDonald, Angie included. I love MacDonald. I grew up going here and I just love it.

"We are not leaving until you eat." Nkosinathi said. I was in no mood to argue so I just nodded. He ordered some Big Mac burgers and fries.

"Can we do twenty questions?" I asked Nkosinathi. I feel like I don't know him that well.

"Okay. What do you want to know?" He agreed.

"Why did you name your company iNath?"

"It's basically Nathi. I just made it unique." Omg, he's right. I didn't realise this. He made it such a unique name.
