"Entlek your husband thinks he's clever and some of us are stupid." Thandeka pointed at me with the gun which was loaded. To say I'm scared would be an understatement. At this point I'm shaking.
"What did he do? I'll talk to him." I tried calming her down. Who knew Nkosi's PA is psychopath who is related to Thandolwethu? Apparently Thandolwethu is her half sister. Same father different mothers. She wants revenge for her family's death including her mother Thandi Gumede who died of depression because of my parents. I thought this was about Nkosinathi marrying me but it's beyond that. I just want to return home safely.
"It's too late for that. I'm yearning for your daughter's blood." She smirked.
"Nkosi would never bring our daughter here. She's innocent in all of this!" I yelled frustrated.
"And so are you yet you're paying." She walked out of the room and made sure to lock it from outside.
I started crying hysterically. Life is not fair. Why am I always hurting? In pain? Who did I hurt? I'm always kind to everyone but this is the life that I get? Maybe I was an evil person in my past life.

We were now at the location we were asked to come. Of course I didn't bring Asenathi along. I left her behind with Unathi.
"Are you sure this is the location?" IJ asked and I took out my phone and read the message again.
"I'm certain it is." I'm crossing my fingers that we will find Asante safe and sound.
"Okay go in. I'll check the coast." Tools instructed. I walked inside followed by Sethu and IJ.
The inside of the abandoned house was just bare. The house structure was collapsing and there was no one inside. I was holding a briefcase of the eight million.
"So where are we dropping the money? Usually there's a dustbin where we can drop the money but now there's nothing." IJ said.
Indeed there was no place where we could drop the money. My phone rang and I took it out of my pocket. I stared at them to alert them that it is the kidnapper before putting it on loudspeaker.
"Where's the baby?" The voice boomed from the phone. You could tell from the sound that they used the voice changer app.
"Where's my wife? I'm not exchanging my baby for her mother."
"Too bad you won't ever get to see her again." You could tell he/she was happy terrorising me.
"We brought the mon—" The call got cut off."Damn it!"
"We can't give her the baby." Tool said angry. Sethu walked in on his laptop.
"The person who called you is somewhere nearby." He announced. We all looked around trying to see if we could see them or anything.
"I'm going to go on that direction." IJ left followed by Tools in search of Asante.
I was about to go after them when Unathi walked in carrying Asenathi. What the hell?
"What are you doing here?"
"I'm not going to sit home and let you get Asante killed. We are going to fool the kidnapper into thinking we brought the baby then—" Before she could continue we heard a scream.
Unathi rushed to where the scream came from and we ran after her. We got inside a room and Asante was tied to a chair. Unathi was nowhere to be seen so I just assumed that she got lost.
"Sunshine? Are you okay?" I knelt in front of her. She was crying and shaking her head. I started untying her. She fell in my arms and I hugged her.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." I tightened the hug. I don't want to ever lose her again.
I heard the door closing harshly and when I turned Thandeka was holding my baby while pointing a gun at Unathi.
"Your sister is not as stupid as all of you." She grinned. I took out my gun as Sethu took out his as well. It was two against one but we had to thread carefully so that we don't get anyone shot.
"Don't harm them." Sethu told her.
"You don't get to tell me what to do." She placed something inside the baby's mouth.
"What is that?" I hope she's not trying to poison my baby.
"It's a small bomb and if it's not taken out of the baby's mouth she's going to explode." What?
"Okay give me my baby." Asante walked from behind me and walked to Thandeka. I didn't know she could be like this. A psycho.
"Uh uh." She placed her finger next to the trigger and pointed it even further next to Unathi's head. Unathi just continued sobbing.
"Unathi hit the gun!" Asante yelled as Unathi hit the gun and it fell down. She quickly took the baby and pushed Thandeka before opening the door and running out.
Thandeka quickly grabbed the gun and I shot her on the arm. She groaned and tried to pick her gun but failed as Unathi kicked it away. I shot her again on the shoulder before walking out of the door in search for Asante. I froze in place as I heard a gun from outside. God let it not be what I'm thinking. I quickly ran outside.
