5.Merry go round

One line together with me behind Yuri.DUN DUN DUN "Into the new world"starts. We are on stage finally as the cameras are rolling and screams can be heard.

From a swimming pool. We are at a waterpark 3 h east of Seoul in Gangwon Do.Did SM send us here? No "Going to school did", A tv-show following us as we prepare for "School of rock". Now thinking back I don't know what the heck they were thinking sending us off to do that show. I get that we needed publicity but having our debut stage at a water park where nobody cared was truthfully insulting. Hyoyeon Jessica and I were against it but what could we do?

Before we went up on the stage in front of a whopping 80 people we walked in a "fashion show" .This was to celebrate the waterpark's 10th anniversary.To be honest doing that show wasn't all bad I am thankful there is official footage of us moving into our first dorm together and things like that.

From July 13 2007  I saw the videos of us being announced one by one as the official members of the new girlgroup. Of course Yoona was first, then one by one a video montage was shown of the member to an instrumental version of "Tinkerbell" and "Honey".Jessica and Hyoyeon refused to have Tinkerbell as their background song and picked Beyonce and Destiny's child instead.
My video came last on July 14. I sent the link of the video to my mom on email! Wow, how easy things are now .We had been called "Super girls" like a girl Super Junior by people.But finally it was announced on July 16 that we were going to be called Girls Generation.

"Going to school" episode one starts with new actress Yoona entering SM's dance room as a few of us dance to Pussycat dolls "Don't Cha" and the rest sit on the floor and pretend to stretch.Doing the voice over is Sooyoung's radio buddy and Super Junior member Sungmin. The script said that Tiffany randomly were going to call home and the rest of us were going shopping. Some things were more scripted than others but most things happened on the spot. It's so funny cause you can see that we try to hide our smiles as another member suggests doing something after getting a note from the PD. Not all of us were meant to be an actress you know.With cameras following us everywhere it really was a reality check that our anonymity is gone forever now. The whole country could tune in and point out things about what you looked like or what you did. Before moving in together a few girls started to cry.Homesickness even though their parents lived 43 min away.If you are not used to it it's scary.

It all  really felt like a big "ok here we go" the train is in motion and that star in the sky I've imagined is closer.Moving into the dorm was fun, finally I did what I thought I was going to the the first time I ever came to Korea.Hahaha.

I shared a room with Hyoyeon and Jessica, it suited me well we were the cool girls who liked to just lay around in silence .Later Shindong and Leeteuk came over to hang out. It was really nice of them to get involved despite being busy. Leeteuk is one of the nicest people I have ever met and the world don't deserve him. As the leader of Super Junior he always kept an extra eye out for us and always gave us good advice whenever we asked.

Dressed up similar to a banana tv-personality Bom meets us outside a high school after dramatically introducing SM's own "Fly to the sky" to a highscool gymnasium.He tells us to work hard so we can meet again on the show.That is what "School of rock" is about, popstars popping in on a highschool with their latest single.A pd who couldn't care less about us took us on and with SM's direction they casually sent us to perform at a high school in front of teens not that much younger than us.

In dance rehearsal,Hyoyeon was told to disappear to create some type of drama with Jessica. I don't know why but all for ratings right? The song we were going to perform was to be done after Super Junior's performance.We were basically just tossed a challenge we weren't prepared for. While we also had school,radio and photoshoots to do. On the due date of our performance we didn't even sing we just danced. This turned out to be disastrous, not only didn't we show off our full potential but the crowd hated us. Seeing us walk up on the stage after Super Junior obviously meant we were backstage very close to their dream boyfriends.And after the performance they knew we were walking off the stage and walking into the same room as their "Boyfriends". On top of this of course it was an all-girl school and remember this was right after their movie came out. Plus this was the first full comeback with all members after the car accidents. I know right, could not be worse timing.
