21.Lucky like that

So after all this time it was finally happening Donghae and I was getting married.
After so many years I'm surprised Idols getting married is still rare.In my group I was first and in Super Junior Donghae was 3rd.After our return at the SMtown where Hyoyeons crying became a meme I gave out the first wedding invitations to the girls.
"Tiff can you hold this for a sec"I said and handed her the paper invite while looking at my phone.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!Ohh my god!! oh my god OH MY GOD!!!!! AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
"And I'm deaf." I say quoting Miranda. Tiffany immediately starts bawling and hugs me.
"What is it!?"They all ask.Tiffany was so chooked up all she could do was fan herself.
"This thing here. I say and hand it out.Like a choir one by one they start screaming like they are trying for Ariana Grande notes.
"Ehehee heee"Hyoyeon cries. I wondered if it's possible she could get dehydrated lol.
Everyone was so super happy for us.It was such a blessing to have my girls there that been there since day one and who knew my whole story with Donghae.
"The invitation is the kissing you ooohhhuuuuh"Seohyun cried.

Of course the wedding had to be on the anniversary of the day I sent that romantic letter.
The wedding was in central Seoul at a Korean wedding hall.In South Korea getting married at an actual church is not that common.We wanted to invite our friends and family which included many people from the old SM.There was no question for Donghae about inviting former members Kangin and Seungmin. I thought about inviting all of f(x). But should I invite Jessica?
I did invite her but knew there was no way in hell the Jung sisters were going to show up.
Which they didn't. We both wanted to invite the whole set of TVXQ. The original five and Super Junior all trained and were roommates with each other in the early days.
Before TVXQ a few of their members Leeteuk and Donghae almost became another boyband called 'Smile.In the end he decided to invite just the duo who he obviously had stayed in touch with.All this years later and there was still complicated things. I opted out on inviting Lee So-Man, if SM was a school and two people got married one shouldn't feel pressure to invite the principal.Maybe just the favorite teachers we had in common.

On the day of the wedding I was so super nervous. Donghae and I woke up that morning in our own bed like always.After a quiet simple breakfast we separated into two pits of chaos.
My 8 bridesmaids sat around me getting ready by my side just like in our youth.
Tiffany who naturally had taken on the unoffcial role of maid of honor stood in the door,curlers in her hair talking on the phone with the woman who was going to deliver my bouquet.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes.Our old stylist and make- up artist from our hay day was tracked down for this special day. It was the reunion of everybody's life.
Lights got dimmed and it was time for my entrance. The music started. Din dun dun din dun dun* a piano- "Into the new world "started. I walked into the big hall with the lights behind me in the style of our old choreography ."AHHH aawww" was heard from all the guest.My stepdad lent me his arm and the music shifted to the chorus in a slow romantic way the second the spotlight hit me. The room was filled but all I could see was Donghae.
I was reminded of our entire journey,our break ups our reunions, are dancing,our failed baking.Movie nights. Running in the snow.Chilling on a beach.The travels, the laughter , the award shows ,the concerts the "Kissing you video" and the hallway December 2006.
At the altar we both cried and needed to collect ourselves before the priest could start. 
After some nice words from Eunhyk,Siwon.Leeteuk Tiffany and Sooyoung and Taeyeon.
Donghae said he had a surprise for me.His brother steps forward and stand in between us.
A guitar is heard in this cute riffing thing. Donghae has a mic now,he winks at me and in a sexy way sing.
"Du du du ddu du duu kissing you babyaa.." 
I almost pass out and grab Donghae's brother's arm for support.
After he was done I almost recovered until the rest of the girls showed up and sang our song "Complete".It was an emotional mess especially the bowing to our families. My mom loved Donghae and Donghae's mom loved me and they love each other.After the cermony we all had  lunch.
I walked around the tables and greeted everyone.
"AAH Yeppo daah!!!" Oh Nara screamed at the 'Sky Castle' table when I went in for hugs.
Then we cut the pink and white wedding cake.
"Don't smudge my make up now"I say and gave him a warning.
"I won't!"He said with a smile like he wanted me to be worried.
The second Donghae shows our crowd the cake the pianist aggressively starts playing "Miracle"
My little surprise to him.Donghae had to put the cake plate down on the table turn away and take a moment."Hiihiihiii" I laughed as I kissed him.

Then it was just party time.The music got everybody going and after I been to the bathroom checking my make-up with Yuri,Tiffany and Red Velvet's Joy I went back to the dance floor with a mic.
"So you know how all our fans always dance to our songs in this thing called random play.Now it's our turn the originals!! And Key ,"Key points at himself in surprise. Give the others a chance."Everybody laughed.Hit it!The center of the dance floor is empty.
5,4,3,2,1* The female voice counts down.
"Rolly rolly rolly polly!" I blink and Key flies into the middle followed by Heechul and Shindong.
"Yaa!" Seohyun yells as she playfully shoves Yuri and Red Velvet's Yeri and joins in.
5,4,3,2,1  Ma boy by Sister plays. Everybody dance and have a great time.
5,4,3,2,1 ."parahda mothae tumyeong haejyeo"I get goosebumps and my eyes turn.
*"Hot summer, A hot hot summer!" *
"f(x)!!! I yell in the mic. Everybody gasp as Luna, Victoria and Amber takes center stage. 
"Hot hot  Summer!"* I can't type this without getting the goosebumps back.
They move to the side as the countdown starts again and Miss A,and Beast follow.
"Ooh Again and again and again" Is heard in the speakers. suddenly Taecyeon Nichkhun and Junho emerges with embarrassed grins and everybody cheers. Them on.
"Sorry sorry" came on and Super Junior flew into the middle just like we did when we heard the.
"I'm your Biggest fan.." And the whole room danced to "Genie".
The goosebumps came back when the countdown counted and was followed by.
"Misteeer oooh"I saw the kpop world's other Nicole make a dance move and yelled in her direction
"KAAAARAAA!!!" * La la la la la la !"Everybody screamed as Nicole,Seung yeon and Gyuri took the center stage with their hip- arm dance.It was the greatest Kpop 2 gen reunion ever.
I think it was so healing for everybody to see each other again in happy circumstances.
I had not seen Kara in 10 years and f(x) in about 6.
"Thee Luciifeeer!!!" Jonghyun's powerful voice echoes. 
Minho, Onew,Key and Taemin on military leaves takes center with Donghae,Eunhyuk EXO's,Xiumin,Kai and Baekhyun. H.O.T Kangta and Tony cheered them on next to BoA  and The Grace's Dana and Sunday.
It got me. I cried a tear.It was so great to see everybody happy and on the other side of their grief depression where I last saw most of them.
As the big finale the girls and I got together. Tiiiiiooou tuh.. the music started and Tiffany say
"Aha ,listen SMtown, Nicole and Donghae's first love story.Congratulations!!"
"ouha ha ouha ha oo yeeaah*"Then it was my turn.!!
"My angels and my girls,My husband!! uhuh Let's go!!!
"NO NO NO NO !!" All old SMtown sang together shaking the whole building as 2 gen watched.
I reached out my mic to Taecyeon who gave a terrefied "No" And I was reminded of the stage he did in 2009 with about 5 other people in the same room. It really felt like a good ol'days SMtown from 2014. Absolutely the happiest day of my life,well until about 9 months later.
