I look up from my phone to see who's at the door. It's only Colby. I honestly should be nervous talking to Colby because he's kinda popular and all but he's really chill...and I also have to work with him so.
"Hey dude." Colby smiles as he puts his bag behind the counter
"Hey" I say back
"Yo I know we like never hang out and honestly never talk at school but uh.. I was wondering if you wanted to go to a party with me and some friends?"
"Who's party?" I say nervously
"I honestly don't know I just got the invite in my locker." He giggles
"If you don't want to I 100% understand."
"Yeah sure I'll go." I say and instantly regret it
"Cool! Me and my buddy Sam will pick you up at like 4 or 5 tomorrow. Just give me your number and text me your address."
He hands me his phone and I put my number in then give him my address. I honestly have no idea why I said yes.. I mean it would be fun to get out more and Colby seems cool.
The rest of my shift went by pretty fast and I was able to get on my lunch on time.
