CH.5 -....so we're all gay or?

Jake's POV:

I'm the first to wake up which is shocking because Sam is always the first out of bed. But then again I am up at 3am. I woke up from a dream and I can't fall back asleep so I ended up laying in bed for a few minutes till I got bored. I mean there's not much to do other than look at the ceiling or Johnnie's back. As I slowly get up, trying not to wake Johnnie I can feel him shift positions. By the time I'm out of bed he's already filled up the area I was once in. I smile as I watch him snuggle into the sheets then grab my phone and head downstairs. I just scroll in my phone for a little bit until I hear someone walking down the stairs.

"What are you doing up?" Sam asks

"I woke up from a crazy dream and couldn't get back to sleep." I sigh

"Oh, that sucks. I know you don't like the mornings." He yawns

"Yeah, why are you up so early? Even this is early for you." I giggle

"Uh..I just couldn't sleep well." Sam sighs

"Sure, I'd imagine you'd sleep easily next to your boyfriend but I guess not." I joke as I watch his face turn pink

"I-inuh..I don't know what your talking about? He's just my best friend I would never-"

"I know, I'm just kidding. If I didn't know any better I'd think that you actually like him." I laugh

"..."

"..oh shit--"

"Please don't tell him." Sam begs

"Why would I tell him?" I question

"I don't know.."

"Does he even know your gay?" I ask as he sits down next to me

"No..he still thinks I have a crush on Kat."

"Oh yeah, did you even really like her or-?"

"Yeah I did, I mean I'm bi so at some point I did but then I kinda stopped and just...ended up liking him." Sam blushes

"Oh well..imma be honest. I'm sure that he likes you back." I smile

"Yeah but...Im just scared to ask."

"That's fine. Take your time."

As we finished talking I put on some music and helped Sam make breakfast. I mean he mainly did the cooking but I mixed the pancake batter so we basically did the same amount of work.

As we finished cooking we see two sets of legs walking down the stairs. It's now 5 so it was kinda surprising to have everyone up so early.

"Morning guys." I say as I start to pour a cup of coffee

"Morning." Johnnie and Colby say in unison

Johnnie makes himself a cup of coffee then him and Colby head outside.

"We'll be back." Colby smiles

"....what are they doing?" Sam asks

"I have no idea." I say as I tilt my head

Johnnie pov:

"So" I say as I take out a cigarette
"Have you figured out how your going to tell him?" I say as I finally get my lighter to work

"Uhhh..." Colby says as he takes his vape out of his pocket
"Totally." He lies

"It's fine if not. I mean there's no rush." I say as I finally take a drag from my cig

"There kinda is. He's been talking to Kat a lot in class and I think that he still likes her. AND I don't even know if he's gay so-" Colby complains

"Just ask him, or I can." I smile
