3 - Soon to be mutant

Am I writing another chapter
cuz I'm bored? You bet!!

Akira's POV:

After we went home. They tried
figuring out what that was. While
I needed more time to wrap my head
around what just happened.

They replayed the video trying to
figuire out what that portal was.
Don promised he'd give me a little
check up in the lab later because I
wasn't feelin' too good lately.

I mean..I'm growing more fur than
usual..my hair is shorter because it's
falling out? My claws are growing and.
.I got my period..yeah it's akward I know.

I decided to go to dad and see if he
could figuire it out. I entered his
room. " Sensei " I only call him that
when I'm actually serious. " Sit, my
child". We then sat across from
each other.

" What is it that's bothering you? "
" Well-you see I haven't been feeling
like my true self lately. "
" How so? " " My fur is growing more
than before, my hair is falling out,
my whiskers are growing..." as I
explained he stroked his beard.

" Am I sick Master Splinter? "
" No. You are not ill my child.
Something else is happening. "
I was a bit scared to be honest.
" Like what? " I didin't want to know.

" Perhaps you are hitting puberty.
You are slowly growing into your
true form and will soon no longer be
human. " " So the mutation will be
complete? " " Yes ". I was shocked
I was actually gonna' be a
mutant floppa cat. I just looked
at him shocked.

He put a hand on my shoulder.
" Do not worry, my child. You
will soon get your weapon. Until
then you must find your true self. "
I nodded. " April is going on a mission
soon, is it okay if I go with her? "
" It is, be careful. " " I will! thanks dad! "
I walked out his room. I covered my
mouth with my ha-paws, I was gonna
be a mutant!

" Kira, are you okay? " " Yeah, I'm fine
don't worry Don. Also, I talked with sensei. He said there's nothing wrong
with me. " I fake smiled. " Oh, that's
great!  "  " I'll be off now, see you later
Don! "

I ran to my room. And texted April.

                         💛  April 💛

                                      - I'll be up in 15
     

      - Alright, c-ya!
                              

                                       - Bye!

                       
I put on a mask that covered my
snout, stuffed my tail in my leggings.
And put a hood on. I snuck out of the
lair and met up with April.

We snuck into Baxter Stockman's
lab and crouched down. There
were two prisoner's in there,
Bebop and Rocksteady. " I feel like
I'm back in Science class " Bebop said
in a British accent. I wanted to
laugh but remembered the situation we
were in.

We listened carefully to what they
were saying. I saw Shredder there
I was scared shitless. I knew I
was gonna risk getting hurt or worse.
But I wasn't letting April go alone.

Shredder shot 2 tranquilizer darts in
their necks. Their hair started falling
out and they started.. mutating? It
was scary. " That stings! Not in a good way " Bebop said while groaning.

" What's goin' on? " Bebop whimpered.
" Ahaha! What is happenin to us?! "
He exclaimed " I don't know..but this
feels great! " Rocksteady exclaimed
as they started smashing things like
they were on a rampage.

One of the darts fell on the floor. April
looked down at it. We then looked at
each other and April held up 3 fingers.
She then started counting down.

' 3..2..1 ' we snuck in there and April
grabbed the dart that was on the floor.
We started running. April grabbed the
purple uze while I hit the big red button.

We slid under the entrance door
that was about to close. Karai kicked
the door with rage. April smiled and
waved the uze in her hand. I took of
my mask and hissed at her as if my
hiss had venom. She went from
angry to shocked once she realized
it was me. I smirked and put on my
mask while running away with April.

We were running into traffic making
cars stop while being chased by foot
soldiers. Once they cornered us in an
alley April started talking about my
brothers trying to make them regret
what they were about to do.

They were closing in on us when they got knocked down by a guy with
a hockey stick. He had a mask on.
He looked like Jason from Friday the 13th. He was basic but kind of a badass.

April dropped the use and as we continued fighting them the cops came.
And we ran into another alley.

There was one soldier left. April tried
making up excuses. " That guy with the
hockey stick in the other alley.. we have
nothing to do with that. " she said while
breathing heavily. The foor soldier
got knocked out by that Jason guy.

" Thank you. " April thanked him.
" Yeah, nice mask by the way. "
" Thanks. " he spoke
" What's your name? " April asked.
He said Casey Jones but April
thought it was Stacy Moans so he had
to take his mask off and repeat himself.

" Hi " APRIL HE'S HOT AND HE SAVED
YOU WE GET IT. I mean he saved us
but STILL.

A Sai was thrown and it stuck into a pole
between Casey and April. And I knew
exactly who's Sai it was..
