Kawaii-Chan's POV:

I stared down at the hideous ring on my ring finger, I hate every bit of this ring and had no idea how anyone could ever pick a ring this hideous and think it would look beautiful.

It has a gold band with a large blue jewel shaped into a heart with smaller heart shaped diamonds surrounding the large blue jewel, if I moved my pinky or middle finger slightly, I'd hit them off it.

King Damien had chosen this ring a few days ago and shoved it onto my finger two days ago just before announcing our engagement to the Kingdom of Tu'la.

There were many forced claps and forced cheers but I knew none of the people of Tu'la were happy about the engagement announcement but forced the cheers and claps just to please my parents.

After the announcement I slipped away from everyone before they could notice and went to hide in the tower, only when Kia found me a few hours later did I decided to come out of hiding.

Now here I am standing in the middle of the ballroom trying on wedding dresses with my mother and Kia in the room with me, the designer smiled as she zipped up the back of a hideous looking dress.

The entire ballroom was covered in wedding gowns and veils, I hated all of them because every single one was my mother's style or my father's picks and none were mine.

Now I'm standing on a little stage in a poofy white dress that looked like it could stand up on it's own, it had puff sleeves at the top and then fitted to my arms the rest of the way until the sleeves ended in a point on my hand.

I turned around to see Kia gagging behind our mother, I smiled at her reaction while mother stood up with a smile on her face and walked towards me looking like she loved the dress.

"What do you think Kawaii-Chan?" She asked, I stared at her with a frown still evident on my face, mother soon groaned in annoyance hating that I wasn't enjoying this.

"Oh Kawaii-Chan why can't you ever just smile for anything" She snapped, I turned around and stared at myself in the mirror noticing the neckline went right to above my collarbones.

This was a hideous dress with gold detailing on the bottom of it, I don't understand how this could ever be someone's style but I also knew my parents just wanted to find a wedding dress as quickly as possibly to move the marriage along.

"Kawaii-Chan you can get changed and leave. You clearly do not care so I'll be picking out your wedding dress" Mother said, I wasted no time jumping off the little stage and running towards the change room.

Kia rushed after me to help me so she could help me with unzipping the dress, I stopped only for her to unzip it enough for me to be able to get the zipper down.

Walking into the room, I shut the door behind myself and unzipped the dress the rest of the way, ripping it off my body I shoved it off to the side and grabbed my pink off the shoulder short sleeve shin length dress and pulled it on.

Grabbing my pink flats, I slid them on and rushed out of the change room to see Kia waiting for me, I grabbed her hand.

"Come on" I said dragging her behind me, she didn't protest and we ran out of the ballroom blocking out our mother's voice as she spoke about the perfect wedding dress with the designer.

I wished so much that there could be some sort of way that I could get out of this while also still becoming Queen of Tu'la so I could keep Mehkin from having to lose his freedom.

I also knew if it came down to it, mother and father would use Kia and our 15 year old brother Malyk against me, they know just how much I care about them.
