Kawaii-Chan's POV:
"Zane still hasn't woken up yet. But the doctor did say he is showing signs of healing and that's wonderful to hear. It's been a month since it happened and month since you passed. It's been hard without you and sometimes I find myself in your room just to be near you. I miss you a lot and I really wish you were here right now" I whispered and leaned my head against the headstone.
I had even decided to wear one of the dresses Brielle made me when I was twenty-two, it's a simple baby pink off the shoulder long sleeve floor length gown.
The sleeves form into a point with a small ring to go around my middle finger to hold it in place and I've been wearing it a lot more since she passed away.
My hair was pulled back into a ponytail and some strands were out and curled, she used to put my hair up like this when I was younger and always had a pink ribbon into my hair and found it again to tie it in my hair again.
"Kia talked about you in school today and how amazing you always were. And everyone in Tu'la came together and came to me asking if they could make a memorial for you, I agreed and it's currently being built. I can't wait to see it be done and know that everyone even generations from now will know how wonderful you were and your story is going to live on forever" I whispered.
Somehow it was going easier to talk to her as I do this everyday and I don't find myself ever stopping this, even when I'm old and can barely walk, I'll still be coming here to talk to Brielle.
Sometimes it's like I can almost hear her voice again when I'm talking to her and that gives me more hope that she can somehow even hear me in heaven.
Hearing footsteps, I looked up and let out a breath of relief when I seen Garte walking towards me with a small smile on his face and a bouquet of pink roses in his hands.
He's been here for a month now and I've gotten to know him more, and I have also learnt more about Zane when he was younger and what had happened between them.
He also is determined that the moment Zane wakes up, he's going to fix their relationship as best as he can because he can't go any longer without his son in his life.
"So this is where you go in the mornings?" He asked, I nodded my head and he gestured to the other side of the headstone and I nodded my head, he sat down with a small groan and looked around.
He then looked down reading Brielle's name and looked at me, I looked back at him.
"Your sister Kia mentioned where you go and I thought I'd come pay my respects to the woman who raised such a lovely person and bring her some roses" He explained, I nodded my head.
I watched him set the roses down carefully and adjust them so they looked nice and neat in front of her headstone before he looked around the cemetery.
"I met her once" I perked up and looked at him.
"You did?" He nodded his head.
"You were about eight when I did. She was hiding in the guard quarters when I walked in and she explained what she was doing. She sounded so happy talking about you and was such a sweet woman. I could see where you got a lot of your little traits from" I smiled.
"She was an amazing person" I said.
"If I may, how did Brielle die?" He asked, I sighed and lenaed my head back against the headstone and stared out in front of me unable to meet his eyes.
"For me. My legs were broken during a fall when Tu'la was being attacked and she came to heal them though the potion would take a few minutes and the man who ambushed was walking towards us. Despite my pleas for her to leave, she stood up and grabbed a sword to fight against him. She told me it was an honor to raise me before holding her own against him until he took her life. I walk so I crawled to her but I couldn't get to her in time" I explained, a tear slid down my face.
