Kawaii-Chan's POV:

"Oh son" I jolted awake and blinked a few times as I lifted my head off of Zane's hand and looked over my shoulder to see a man with blonde hair and blue eyes standing in the doorway.

Zane's father.

Eyrx stood there looking at me as Mr.Ro'Meave ran towards the bed and Eyrx shut the door, I had asked Eryx to go and search for Zane's father but I never thought he'd actually get him to come here.

I watched him grab Zane's other hand and look at him, I wasn't sure if he had noticed that I was here or not and I don't blame him for not realizing someone else is in the room when his son is unconscious and severely injured.

Mr.Ro'Meave finally noticed me and his eyes widened as if he realized who I was and set Zane's hand and walked around the bed, I watched him as he bowed to me as a guard would bow to the King and Queen.

"Your majesty, I had no idea you were in the room. I apologize" I blinked a few times and then shook my head and he noticed, he looked confused as I turned slightly without letting go of Zane's hand to look at him.

"You do not need to bow to me Mr.Ro'Meave, you are my equal" I said, he looked even more confused as he stood slowly and I looked up at him still not moving.

"But I am not a Royal" I shrugged my shoulders.

"But you are a person as am I" He looked almost happy to hear that and nodded his head, I watched him walk around the bed and pull a chair up to sit next to Zane.

I leaned my chin against Zane's hand and watched his father reach up and move his hair a bit and grab his hand again and leaned his mouth against it.

I looked at Zane to see the large bruises still black and purple and made no signs of starting to heal anytime soon while bandages were wrapped around his head along with all over his body.

It's been almost a week since Brielle's funeral and I go and visit her headstone every single day to sit there for a bit and talked to her about everything before coming back to sit here with Zane.

I don't want to be away from here when he wakes up because I don't want him to be alone and I'm also terrified that if I leave something's going to happen to him.

Or he'll pass and I won't be here.

"Garte Ro'Meave" I jumped remembering there was someone else in the room with me and looked over at him, I sat up straight and cleared my throat.

"Kawaii-Chan Ashida" I responded, he smiled.

"I know who you are your majesty. I remember you on the trips to Everlastia, you were and still very clearly a very sweet person. Even when you were young you never liked people bowing to you and said the same thing. I used to wonder how such a sweet girl had parents like Kova and Lennox Ashida. It's good to see you never turned out like them" He explained, I smiled smally.

"Tu'la needed someone better than them to rule over them, I knew I'd become that" I responded, he nodded his head and I leaned forward on my elbow and rested my chin against the palm of my hand.

"When your guard showed up, I must say I was quite surprised to hear my son had been injured and the Queen of Tu'la was taking care of him. How did you meet my son?" He asked.

"He helped me escape from the arranged marriage my parents were attempting to force me into. He wasn't happy to do it but he helped me and I was in debt to him. I helped him when he needed it and he sort of just appeared around me after that" I explained, Garte nodded his head and glanced between us.
