FOUR: The Escape Plan

Kawaii-Chan's POV:

When I was a little girl I used to wonder what it would be like to be born into a normal family, a family that isn't of royal blood and lives in the Kingdom of Tu'la in a simple house.

What it would be like to have parents who aren't rulers of the 2nd most powerful Kingdom in the world and just parents who have a normal job like a blacksmith or a guard.

Parents who loved their children and focused on them instead of pushing them off to the side and having a nanny raise them while they did their own thing as a couple.

Parents who would tell their children bedtime stories of these amazing people who went on all kinds of amazing adventures and fought mythical creatures like dragons or a half lion and half eagle.

I would be able to be a normal child who didn't have to worry about becoming Queen or being forced into a loveless marriage with a man who didn't deserve to be a King.

I'd get to fall in love with a man who stole my attention and I'd get to go through the dating and bringing him home to meet my parents and soon they'd propose to me.

I'd get to plan my own wedding with my own style and make everything completely mine and my future husband's without anyone else's say in the wedding.

I wanted to fall in love with someone who'd just randomly show up in my life in the most unexpected way and without realizing it I'd fall in love with him and spend the rest of my life with him.

"Thinking about love beautiful?" Jumping back I lost my balance and fell off the tree branch, letting out a gasp my legs hooked over the branch and I was saved from falling 20 feet.

I looked up to see Travis looking down at me with a smile on his face, I glared at him and he reached a hand down grabbing mine and pulling me back up onto the tree branch.

"Why would you ever sneak up on me!" I shouted, he grinned and leaned back on the curve of the branch, he placed his hands behind his head and winked at me.

"I felt you thinking about love and just had to show up. Are you longing to fall in love Princess Kawaii-Chan?" He asked, I stared at him with an unamused expression on my face and leaned back looking down at my sketchbook laying 20 feet below us.

"No. Why are you here?" I snapped, he sat up and leaned towards me.

"To see you beautiful" I groaned and shoved him out of the tree, he let out a scream and I watched him hit the ground bouncing slightly before rolling onto his back.

I smiled and heard laughter, looking over I seen Katelyn walking towards the tree with the happiest look on her face that I've ever seen, she must've watched me shove Travis out of the tree.

Katelyn stopped and looked up at me, I smiled and jumped off the tree branch landing on the ground in front of her, my knees bent slightly and I stood up straight.

"You made my day by pushing him out of the tree. I hope yuo know that Kawaii-Chan" I kneeled down picking up my sketchbook while I heard Travis shout hey but I chose to ignore it.

"At least I could make someone's day" I whispered and walked past her hugging the sketchbook close to my chest, I heard Katelyn sigh and 2 sets of footsteps running after me.

An arm wrapped around my shoulders and I looked up to see Travis walking next to me with a goofy grin on his face, the same goofy grin that could usually make anyone smile but not today.

"Have you ever thought that maybe somehow you may fall in love with him?" Travis asked, I stopped and turned to face him, he's the love god as he likes to say and he can see the future.
