Narrator's POV:

Zane's hand wrapped around Kawaii-Chan's left bicep up, catching her from slipping off the edge of the cliff and into the rough Tu'lan Sea crashing into the side of the cliff below.

Zane pulled her back up shaking his head, she stumbled forward when he let go of her arm and pushed her hair out of her face turning around to face Zane.

"Thank you" Kawaii-Chan whispered, Zane ignored her and walked past her, in the 4 days of them being stuck together they have hardly stopped bickering.

If they aren't bickering they are ignoring each other and shooting each other annoyed looks whenever one of them opened their mouths to make a suggestion or answer questions.

Kawaii-Chan's friends had noticed their distain towards one another but couldn't help but be amused by the constant bickering from the two or the way they would gently shove each other when the other got too close.

In the 2 days since Zane gave them the idea to blackmail Kawaii-Chan's parents, they have managed to find something on her parents that would send them to the Tu'lan jail for the crime.

Kawaii-Chan was over the moon when she realized that her parents precious reputation is so important to them that they would back down on the arranged marriage deal and make her Queen of Tu'la.

They were now heading towards the Kingdom of Tu'la once again so Kawaii-Chan could protect her siblings like she always wanted too and allow them to keep their freedom.

Zane agreed to accompany them to outside the walls of Tu'la before leaving and would only return the day he needs his debt to be called in with Kawaii-Chan.

They had entire Tu'lan territory once again and while they were prepared they had no idea what they are walking into, they had no idea what was going to happen when they returned.

Kawaii-Chan stopped when she realized Zane was no longer next to her and turned around to see him standing a few feet back, everyone stopped and turned to look at him.

"I've accompanied you close enough to Tu'la. I have my own things to attend too" Zane announced, Kawaii-Chan nodded her head while everyone bid their goodbyes to him.

"Goodbye Zane" Kawaii-Chan said and took a step back.

"Goodbye Princess. Make sure to watch your step on future adventures in the forest" Kawaii-Chan rolled her eyes and shot him a look but couldn't help but smile a little bit.

She turned around and caught up with everyone else, they all smiled at her while Zane watched her until she disappeared from his line of view and then turned around walking away.

He didn't walk very far before he head reached the camp set up with Lucinda, Sasha, and Lo who were all waiting there and when he returned they didn't question where he had disappeared too.

They knew Zane was secretive about things and had no interest in being questioned about his where abouts if it did involve them so they watched as he disappeared into his tent without acknowledging them.

Kawaii-Chan stopped outside the walls of Tu'la and looked up with a small smile on her face, she was relieved to know that soon she'd be back with Kia, Malyk, and Mehkin and know they are safe.

"Kawaii-Chan sneak back into the castle and get to your room. Get changed while Aphmau and I will catch the guards attention and let them know we believe we have found you. Travis Garroth and Aaron will hide in the forest and create noises when we lead the guards over here and give them enough distraction for Jenny to sleep back into the castle and run towards your parents with a relieved look to tell them you have been located just outside of the walls. If all goes to plan your parents will be waiting for you in the throne room where you'll confront them" Katelyn explained, Kawaii-Chan nodded her head.
