TWENTY-SIX: King Damien's Fall

Narrator's POV:

Kawaii-Chan looked down to see the tip of the sword sticking out from her stomach, she coughed and blood fell from her lips as the sword was brought back.

She let out a cry of pain and managed to turn around to see King Damien standing there with a sickening grin on his face as he watched her stumble back pressing a hand into her stomach.

Her knees buckled and she crashed into the ground rolling onto her back with a hand against her stomach and an arm sprawled out next to her as she watched him laugh.

"Oh how wonderful this is! Queen Kawaii-Chan's fall after just over a year of ruling Tu'la!" King Damien shouted in happiness swinging his bloodied sword around.

"NO" Kawaii-Chan heard Kylo scream and she managed to turn her head to see Kylo running towards them but Magi guards ambushed him and he started fighting them off.

"Your Kingdom is mine now" King Damien said with a grin and raised the sword, Kawaii-Chan closed her eyes waiting for the final blow to come to her when she heard the sound of something breaking.

Her eyes opened and she seen a large hole in the wall and guards laying lifeless on the ground near her, she heard footsteps running towards her and looked over.

"Zane" She whispered as he got closer to her, a panicked expression on his face as he fell to his knees next to her and pulled her up into his arms to protect her from everyone.

"You're okay Princess. You'll be just fine okay?" Zane rushed out as he dug through his satchel to find the potion he was looking for that could save her life.

Flashbacks of his mothers death came back to him as he remmebred doing the same thing with his mother when he was only 16 years old and now he was doing this with her.

Kawaii-Chan coughed up more blood that trickled down her face, her eyes half closed as she heard footsteps and looked over to see King Damien climbing out of the hole in the wall.

"Zane go" Kawaii-Chan rapeseed out, Zane shook his head and looked up to see King Damien stumbling as he looked around to see more of his guards dead.

"I am not leaving you here to die" Zane rushed out as King Damien stood up holding his sword and walking towards them with an angry expression on his face.

"How wonderful! The Queen's thief will die with her!" King Damien shouted followed by a cruel laugh falling from him, Zane felt anger bubbling up inside him.

Zane grabbed a potion out and dropped it on Kawaii-Chan's stomach, she screamed in pain as the potion started working to slow the bleeding down completely.

King Damien swung the sword down towards both of them, another sword clashed with it and shoved him back.

Zane laid her onto the ground as she clenched her eyes shut in pain and Zane stood up holding a sword in his hand, he stepped in front of her to protect her.

King Damein shook his head and sat up with a grin on his face realizing that Zane was going to fight back but what he had failed to realize is Zane was trained by the guards of Everlastia in combat.

"Doesn't this remind you of something Zane?" King Damien asked referring to the time Zane had fought against King Damien when he had killed his mother.

"You aren't taking her from me this time" Zane responded and charged King Damien without another word, he could hear Kawaii-Chan's hisses of pains and cries from the potion working.

King Damien and Zane's swords clashed together and Zane kicked his foot into King Damien's stomach and sent him flying back and ran towards him again.

Zane swung the sword once again and slicing King Damien's leg and kicked him in the face watching King Damien hit the ground as Zane dropped the sword and swung first.
