 CHAPTER 5.2

UNO's POV

"I am so disappointed to you, Xavier!" yan ang welcome greeting sakin ni Mama ng madatnan ko siya, kasama ni Kuya King paguwi ko ng bahay galing sa encounter ko with Stupid Girl which happens to have a name which is Franzeska Arrielle Esguerra.

Mukhang alam ko na kung bakit nandito ngayon si Mama.

"Bakit hindi mo sinipot si Leslie Domingo?" si Kuya King ang nagtanong. Sabi ko na nga ba. Malamang, Mom won't like what I did to the precious Domingo heiress, Leslie Kristine Domingo, ang supposedly pair ko tonight.

"Sorry, mom. I just had something important to deal with, that's why I haven't made it." pagpapalusot ko.

"You are so irresponsible, Uno Xavier! How many times would I have to tell you not even dare not to meet any of your pair?" nagaalburotong bulyaw nito.

"Calm down, Ma." says his Mr. Might and Bright son.

"Mabuti pa ang kuya mo, hindi nagpapabaya sa mga responsibilities niya! You are so impossible, Xavier!" blah. Blah. Blah.

They were over-reacting as if what I've done was one of the gravest sins on Earth, and to think it was my first time not to attend a pair. For all my life, I was entertaining every pair they give, everything they want me to do. Everything! Tapos ngayon, itong bagay lang na to, kung makaasta sila!

"I'll reschedule a date between you and Ms. Domingo. And this time, make sure to come." Date? Can they atleast stop this moment? I am so pissed with that freaking pairing! I hate this!

"You undestand, Xavier?" she said while glaring at me.

What will I do to stop this crazy thing?!

"No, Ma. I can't." I said while looking her into her deadly glares.

"What did you say?!" it wasn't a question, rather an implied warning telling me to take back what I have said.

"You heard it, Mom." I said calmly. As what I can see, it's working.

 At this moment, I had a brilliant thing in mind which  got in my thoughts the most random, but most witty this time.

"I'm sorry, Ma. But you have to understand that I also have my private life. I wanted to enjoy it this time. Just this time, mom. And if you'll excuse me, I have to rest. Good night, mom."

There and then, I left mom with an unexcplicable expression pasted on her face. I am uncertain with what lies ahead, but I believe, this is something different.

ARRIELLE's POV

Imagine that weird time when you are inside the classroom supposedly listening to your professor's discussion about an accounting matter but you just can't figure it out why it seems you see her slowly transforming as Fiona, Shrek's lovey dovey, with eight tentacles, one of which holds a spatula similar to what Spongebob use to cook Krabby Patties, the other holds a scientific calculator, the other two wearing blue gloves like what Manny Pacquiao use during his fights, and the other two has columnar notebook and a white board marker with them, the other holding her hip with that scary pose, and the remaining tentacle pointing on you?
