Today was another normal day Hermitcraft season 7. Grian was restocking the Barge. Mumbo was working on his base. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

{Grian's Pov}

"Hey, Grian! You restocking the barge?" I hear a voice call out. I turn around to see no one other than Impulse. He smiles at me and I smile back.

"Yep, as always. It's how I make money!" I reply, and Impulse sighs. I know exactly why he's sighing. He and a couple of other hermits continue to try and convince me to take a break. I know that do restock the barge often, but that's because I worry it will all run out and the other hermits won't like me. Plus, I have nothing else to do. (What about the back of your base, G?)

"Grian, man," He begins his sentence, looking me in the eyes. "If you don't get some rest soon, I'm going to drag you to bed and watch you sleep."

"I get that, but it's really important that I do this." I tried to persuade Impulse to let me work, but that obviously failed. He drags me back to my mansion and forces me inside. I watch as he gets his communicator out. I look over his shoulder so I can see what he's doing.

<ImpulseSV>  Hey Mumbo?

<MumboJumbo> yes?

<ImpulseSV>  Can you see G's mansion from there?

<MumboJumbo>  I see his "back"

<ImpulseSV> lol good. If you see fly away at any point in time, tell me. I need him to stay here and not go to work for once.

<MumboJumbo>  So he's finally taking that break?

<ImpulseSV> yeah, so tell me if he leaves.

<MumboJumbo> K

"I don't need somebody to watch me." I protest, but Impulse's opinion doesn't change. I know I'd lose the fight anyway. I went to my storage room and stayed inside of a shulker box. Sometimes it was more comfy than my bed.

I slept, hoping the hermits wouldn't buy all the stock, leaving me to restock it again.

{Scar's Pov}

I was flying around the server because I had nothing to do. perhaps I could help some hermits out? The first thing I did was help Cub go mining, as I hadn't hung out with him for a little while. next, I went into G's base. I knew he hadn't worked on the back of his base and probably never planned to. I decided to ask if I could help. He's complimented my skills before, so I think he'd like it.

I looked for him for a while but started to give up. He was impossible to find! Then I remembered Mumbo telling me he was sleeping. I have no idea where his bed is. I decided to help Grian sort his chest monster, even though I had one to be taken care of.

One by One, I cleared out G's shulker boxes. I would open them up, and then make sure nothing valuable was inside. Then I would put it into the sorting machine.

I had a small pile left. I took the red one, opened it up, and inside it.. was low and behold... Grian. He looked peaceful while he slept. I felt his fluffy hair against my hand, and I wanted to hug him. His wings curled around him like a blanket. I closed the lid and carried it over to the doorway, so I knew which one he was in.

As I finished up, I wondered why he was even in a shulker box. I thought it might have been an accident, but I don't think that would happen. Grian's light, so It was easy to carry him over to my base. I made sure to tell Mumbo what I was doing before I left.

I took him out of the shulker box and laid him on my bed. I laid a blanket over him and started to think about what I was doing. He's my enemy, so why should I take care of him? He's the reason I work so hard as a mayor. He's the leader of the mycelium resistance.

But then again, every time I'm around Grian I feel something bubbly inside me. I like hanging around him, hearing his voice, and looking into his beautiful eyes. I just can't bring myself to hate him.

I've been discussing with the HEP, and we've been looking for a little prank to hopefully help us out. If we pressure them enough, we should win the turf war.
