"Chasity, I don't know what the hell your problem is, but you better leave Chance alone. You keep coming at him the way you are, you can guarantee yourself a nice spot up in the hospital. I'm telling you this because I love you and you're pressing your luck."

I watched her as she jabbed her fork into her pile of leafy greens, (what she called a salad) and place a forkful into her mouth. Her facial expression changed in 2.5 seconds when she cleared her throat, pointing her fork in my direction. "First off, Chance deserved that shit because from the day I stepped foot back into this town, he's plotted to get his so called revenge on me and I'm sick of it, K. He's done nearly every damn thing to kill me and it's all behind some money."

She threw her fork down on her plate, the clinking sound echoing through the restaurant we were in. We had made some time in our schedules to have lunch with each other and to catch one another up on our lives.

After going with her to Chance's house, I really haven't spoken to her, besides once over the phone and I haven't seen her as much. We were both busy with and working and whatnot, so we cleared some time in our schedules to have some lunch together.

"Well, you paid him back the money, so I guess that solves that problem," I told her, picking up one of the many jumbo shrimps on my plate. I took a small bite out of it, only to look up and see her Chasity with her eyebrow raised. I continued on. "Let's not forget the fact that you literally smacked him in the face with it. He already wants your head for stealing from his daughter, you just added more fuel to the fire with that one."

Smacking her lips, she rolled her eyes. "What do you mean I stole from his daughter? The money I took belonged-"

"---to Kimberly," I interrupted her. "That money was for her college tuition. Chance was saving up enough money to move her down to Florida with his mother, into her own apartment, with her own car and all of her school fees, bills and everything paid. He was planning on moving her down there because he didn't want her getting caught up with these little ass boys in the streets.

And yeah, so what if it was only three thousand dollars that you stole? What you're failing to realize is that Chance doesn't care about the money, because the nigga has lots of it and as you know, he has no problem with making it. It's just the simple fact that you took what belonged to his daughter."

"Trust me, if I would've known that the money was going towards her and her education or whatever, I wouldn't have taken it. You know the situation I was in and I had no other choice but to steal from him, which I do sincerely, regret. But how did you know that money was going towards her? You still talking to Chance or what?" She eyed me suspiciously, not once taking her eyes off of me as she reached her drink.

I smacked my lips, arching my eyebrow. "I speak to him on occasions and sometimes he calls me over to help him with Kimmie's hair, but other than that, we don't speak on the level that you're thinking we are. And besides, you know I'm with Zay." I told her, rolling my eyes. "And stop trying to turn this all on me."

I was a little offended by her asking me that question, but I couldn't really blame her because I did know a lot about what's going on with Chance, shit that she wouldn't even believe, but that was only because we dated a long ass time, six years to be exact.

At one point in time, we were so close, having a bond that no one or nothing could break. He trusted me enough with some of his most sacred secrets and I trusted him with mines and still until this day, neither of us have opened our mouths, spilling anything concerning any of them.

We had the type of relationship that kept everybody on the urge to know. Our journey and time together was a bit rocky I must admit, but we kept it so that only the both of us were aware of that. It was sad and unfortunate we had to end on the terms that we did and at the downhill pace that we were going, it was best that we ended when we did.
