Third POV
Silvers eyes fluttered open, immediately noticing the icy breeze blowing on him from above. Even with the blanket on him, he shivered looking up to see the window slightly cracked open. He sat up, Espio stirring in his sleep a bit from the movement. Silver tried reaching over Espio to close the window, but to no avail his finger tips just barely grazed the glass. Another gust of wind blew into the room, Silvers ears pinning on top of his head from the uncomfortable temperature. He grumbled under his breath, ever so gently sliding out of the bed as to not wake Espio. He squinted his eyes around the room, trying to find any kind of Extra blanket or warmth. The room was very dark, only a few rays of moonlight shining through the blinds and even then they were all directed overtop of the bed. As Silver continued to feel his way around the room, he felt a soft fabric rub against his skin. He grabbed hold of the fabric, assuming it was a blanket. Once noticing the size and shape Silver realized it was the hoodie Espio had set down. At this moment Silver was still tried, the room was cold and dark and the bed was practically begging for him to return. Without another moment of reconsideration, Silver slipped on the hoodie. He felt the bottom graze against his upper knee once he popped his head through the hole.
He rubbed his palms together, the sleeves of the hoodie almost completely overlapping his hands. He happily shuffled back over to the bed, lifting the blanket up and carefully lying back down on his side. Whilst Espio was stirring in his sleep he turned to face Silvers back. Also suffering from the cold temperatures Espio subconsciously grabbed Silver by the sides of the hoodie, pulling him closer to Espio as an attempt to seek warmth. He sighed contently, clutching onto Silver as if he were a life sized teddy bear. Silvers face and ears burned up from Espios actions. He gently rotated his body to face Espios. Espios mouth was slightly agape and his chest slowly rose and fell. Just from the few hours of sleep Espio already looked significantly better, the bags under his eyes not completely gone but in the process of disappearing. That small inkling of improvement in Espios wellbeing made Silver smile.
He gazed at Espio while he slept, that odd yet familiar fluttery feeling gradually returning. The same feeling he felt in the bathroom during Espios apology and when he was lying on the couch with the TV on. The sensation made his body tense and his teeth clenched yet a flushed smile occupied his expression. Silver ran his fingers along Espios arms, feeling small goosebumps form on Espios scales. He trailed his hands up to his shoulders and eventually to the sides of Espios face, his hands moving as they pleased while his sleep addled brain didn't bother to stop them. He rubbed his thumb against his cheek feeling Espios tail coil itself around Silvers leg. He felt heat radiating from Espios face. Silver scooted closer, his eyes trialing from Espios chest, to his mouth, to his eyes and back down at his mouth. Blush spread all across Silvers face, reaching to the tips of his ears as he lay in front of Espio. Sleep deprivation swiftly began to eat away at Silvers mind, inevitably falling asleep up against Espio.

Eight o clock had rolled around and Vector sauntered down the stairs rubbing his eyes and yawing. Once he reached the first floor he was expected to be met with Silver sleeping on the couch, or at the very least awake watching TV or simply relaxing but he was no where to be found. With an eyebrow raised Vector quickly made his way to the kitchen, his eyes scanning over the room with still no sign of Silvers presence. Slightly concerned, he made sure to check the backyard before hurriedly waking back up the stairs. He saw the only bathroom door open and empty, his concern for Silvers whereabouts growing. Even if Silver was in Charmys room, which he severely doubted, he would never wake the bee this early in the morning just to check. He turned his head to face Espios bedroom door, being the last place in the house Silver could be in. He pressed his ear against the door, attempting to listen for any indication of someone awakened. As he pressed up against the door, he felt his forearm turn the doorknob. To his surprise the door was left unlocked, which was quite unlike Espios usual habits. Sneakily, Vector slowly opened the door, being extremely careful as to not let the door hinges squeak and blow his cover.
