A shrill, sudden noise rang through Yeonjun's bones and woke him from his sleep. Startled, he turned left and right, seeing only small dots at first as the sunlight blinded him. After a few seconds, he realized that the shutters in the room had been raised and that he was definitely not in his room. "What the hell," he hissed and when the noise had not yet stopped, he looked for the source. He could actually see Huening Kai standing at the window.

His mouth was wide open and from it came a loud, unnerving scream.

Soobin was just as wide awake, but felt stiff as a board. He lay in bed and stared up at Kai with his eyes wide open. Shortly afterwards, he realized the weight of Yeonjun on the bed and remembered that he had invited the boy into his room.

Obviously Yeonjun hadn't gone and Kai made a huge fuss.

Soobin immediately jumped up, put an arm around Kai's shoulders and a hand over his mouth, but this only muffled the scream. "Please, Kai. Be quiet!"

But Kai didn't even think about stopping, instead tugging at Soobin's hand to remove it from his mouth. When he succeeded, he screamed so loudly again that he made Yeonjun jump out of bed. With a furious gleam in his eyes, Yeonjun charged at the screaming boy, pushing on his hand so that it fell back onto Kai's mouth. "Shut up or are you going to spend the next two weeks scraping the dirt out from under the kitchen counters?"

Soobin grimaced briefly, unsure whether it was a good idea to silence Kai with a threat. So he tried a different solution and said: "If you keep it a secret, we could play games together in the evening."

"Hmpf. Mumpf. Hmm?" Kai mumbled and apart from spreading his spit on Soobin's palm, not a word could be understood.

Slowly, Yeonjun let go of him to give Kai a chance to speak. "Exactly, that's what I meant," he confirmed Soobin's statement with a nod.

Noisily, Kai drew back his saliva while Soobin wiped his hand on his pyjama bottoms, wrinkling his nose slightly. "Like a secret club?" the excited boy repeated his question and his narrow eyes lit up. He seemed to like the idea, as if he had finally been given something to do, but at the same time Soobin wondered if it was a good idea to ask Kai to keep a secret.

"That's right, a secret club!" Yeonjun beat him to it before Soobin had a chance to stop it. "In this club, you keep secrets until ... until death."

You could see that Yeonjun was just trying to distract the boy and make him forget that he had seen them in bed together.

And nothing had even happened.

The word 'death' alone was enough to distract him, as Kai gasped in horror. He even put his hand over his mouth. The smile behind it was still clearly visible and made the boy look almost devilish. "I promise!" Kai whispered enthusiastically, not managing to keep his voice down.

"Let's get out of here as soon as possible," Soobin suggested, "before Jisoo or Minji barge in here because of the screaming." He walked between Yeonjun and Kai towards the closet, slipped out of his pajama pants and grabbed a pair of jeans. Shortly afterwards, he got rid of the shirt and replaced it with a black T-shirt. Yeonjun's eyes remained glued to Soobin's back as if magnetically attracted, as if he had never seen a male torso except for his own. Soobin now turned his attention to the door to the room, opened it carefully and quietly and peeked out through the small gap. But as there was no one in the hallway, Soobin pushed the door open even further. There was a downright uncomfortable silence in the corridor, which made the sleepwalker frown. "The coast is clear. Quick!" Soobin hissed and beckoned the two to him, slipping out first himself.
