Chapter 10

"Fern" I shout from the bottom of the stairs. "Hurry up! Me and Leah have got to go" I say
She comes down the stairs. "Why can't I come as well?" She asks
"Because your suspended and your not" I say.
We drive to Alex Scott's house, Leah's friend. Alex had offered to look after fern whilst we were at an away game. "Right Fern! Be a good girl!" I say harshly
"I will" she says. Leah goes inside with her.

After a couple minutes Leah comes back outside, "Alex has got her work cut out" Leah says
"Drive before she changes her mind" I say with a slight laugh.
We get to Colney and get on the bus, Leah sits with Beth. And I sit with Steph.
"So girlfriends?" She asks
"Just don't" I say
We arrive in Birmingham and get to our hotel. We go inside and Jonas tells us our rooms. I'm with Leah. "Keep the noise down we are next door" Beth says. "Ha ha ha" I say sarcastically
We go inside. "How do you think fern is?" Leah asks
"Fuck knows, but she better behave" I say
"I hope she does, I hope Alex doesn't have to put up with too much" Leah says
"Yeah me too" I say
"I'll call Alex later to check up on them" Leah says
"Great" I say
"I'm more worried about Dixie at the minute though" I say
"Why?" Leah asks
"Because she's with Kim, and I know Kim's responsible I'm just worried" I say
"Kim will be fine with Dix. She also has Calvin since she's injured" Leah says
"True" I say
I kiss Leah and then we make out but pull apart abruptly as the girls flood in.
I smile at her as I feel arms wrap round me. "Hey" someone says
"Hi" I say and turn to them, it was Katie. "You good?" She asks
"Looking a bit out of breath" Katie says
"Shut your gob" I say
"And you Williamson? Looking a bit flustered" she says
"Yeah, mist of been pretty heated in here, I think I could get a tan" Beth says
"You know Beth you're not even that funny. If anything we should be worried about you and Viv not being able to keep it down" I say
"Christ it's warm in here!" Alessia joins in
"Shut up lessi" I say
Leah's phone rings. "Oh hi Alex" I hear her say.
"Yeah"
"Mhm"
"Oh god"
"Is she okay"
"What?"

She comes off the phone. "What did she say? Is Fern behaving?" I ask
"Yeah she's behaving, she's fine. Just sorta broke Alex's staircase" Leah says quietly
"You what!" I say
I barge out of the room and walk around the hotel. "Woah you okay?" I hear someone say
"Mhm" I say
"You sure? You don't look it" they say
"I can take you to your room" they add
"No it's fine, just need a walk" I say
"Hi by the way, I'm Sarah Mayling" they say
"I know who you are" I say
"What's wrong?" She asks
"Erm, my little sister is currently staying at Alex Scott's house and she's broken her bloody staircase" I say
"How?" Sarah asks laughing
"God knows, she's an absolute twat" I say
"So she like proper broke it?" Sarah asks
"I don't know, Leah just got of the phone with Alex. I mean I thought I could trust her with Alex, like she wouldn't make a scene" I say
"Teenagers are stupid" she says. "Yeah they are" I say
"She's already suspended from school, I don't know how to make her realise the consequences" I say
"It's hard" Sarah says
After a while I walk back to the room, the girls were still hanging out. "Hi" I say and find Leah, but I couldn't. "Where's Leah?" I ask
"She left about 15 minutes after you" alessia says
"Where to?" I ask
"Don't know sorry" Beth says. I try and message Leah, but there was no answer.
I phone Alex, no answer. "What the hell is going on?" I ask
"Just wait" Beth says
"No because I'm already fucking mad at fern!" I say
"Just come on" Steph says. "We will go on a team walk try and calm down" she adds
"I don't want to go on a walk" I say
"Oh come on, please, for us" Lotte says
"Please" Victoria says
"Fine" I say
We go outside "it's cold" I say
"Here" someone says and I turn around and see Sarah. "Thanks" I say
The villa team were behind us. Leah with Jordan, "what?" I say to myself
Beth notices and I could see her face, she looked puzzled and mad.
"Thanks Sarah but I don't need this" I say and give her jacket back to her.
I run towards the park. The arsenal girls all running behind me but I needed to feel the air. Tears starting to fall down my face.
Beth catches up with me "what?" She asks
"N- no" I say
She immediately hugs me.
The other girls stay back a bit.
I see Leah also running behind a bit as well as the villa girls. "Why did you all make me come out? I said I didn't want to" I whisper into Beth's shoulder
"We know about you and Leah thanks to Fern" Beth says
"Yeah I know. But her and Jordan, they met they met when they were seventeen. They they broke up didn't they?" I ask
"They were only on a break" Beth says, and I hear her voice breaking as she tells me.
I pull away "what?" I ask
Leah comes over "just hear me out" she says
I look at her in disbelief "what the fuck Leah" I shout at her
"You- you told me you loved me- you you helped me when I needed it. You kissed me, you - but you-" I say starting to break down
"I didn't mean to. I didn't mean-" she goes to say
"I mean nothing to you do I. You completely used me, Fern never asked any of them questions. You just used me as your rebound" I say
"No" Leah says
"Yes. I just- you saw I was falling for you. You realised I was in love with you, so you knew it would be easy for you. Your - you- I was used" I say
"No you weren't used" she says
"But you didn't love me? All that was fake?" I say
She goes to grab me. "Get off" I say
"None of it was fake, it was all true. But me and jord we were only on a break" she says
"Then why lie Leah?" I say
"I- I didn't mean to. It sort of just slipped out and I didn't know how to take it back" Leah says
"Okay" I say and go to walk back to the hotel. "I hope you know, your a shit person" I say
I see my dad's car. "What is he doing here?" I ask
I see Leah's mums car come in. "What the hell" I say. My dad comes over. "Hun we've got to go." He says
"What's happening?" I ask
"Just come on" he says
"Okay" I say
I get in the car and we drive to a nail salon. I get my nails done. "What?" I ask my dad who's just staring at me. "Nothing" he says
