Worst is yet to come

Chapter 4

Jungkook tried to shift his weight onto his left hip when the other side became numb from sitting awkwardly on the ground against a closed toilet door. It was hard to sit comfortably when both of his arms where handcuffed behind his back, with the metal digging in his skin because the attackers of course had pulled it too tight. But despite the numbness of his right hip and the cuffs hurting his wrists, he wasn't too bothered because of it. He was however very concerned for Jimin, who was sitting on the ground as well but a few meters away from him.

The other Busan boy looked beaten up with his shoulder resting limply against his side as the rest of his body was leaning against the tiled wall behind him. Jimin's eyes were squinting when he lifted his head to look at his surrounding as the light was too much for his head that felt like it might explode any second. He probably had a large bump at the back of his head where the attacker had smashed it against the wall once. Jungkook just wished he could call out for him and ask if he was doing okay, but he knew better than to test the strange men's limits, especially when they were carrying guns and had threatened them countless times as it is.

Jungkook looked at the other side of the restroom and spotted the door where their bodyguard was locked up. It wasn't hard to distinguish the toilet stall, since a large blood smear was leading right to it, but he swallowed anxiously when he noticed that the pool of blood that was forming underneath the door was increasing in size as the time went on. How much blood could a person lose? The bodyguard had made a few noises over the past few minutes, but he was silent now and it could only mean one thing... Jungkook shuddered in fear by the mere thought of the possibility.

"Get in here" a new voice joined them as the restroom door was opened rather loudly. Jungkook's head immediately turned to the right side of the room as he watched with wide scared eyes how Taehyung was pushed into the room, followed by another tall man who was carrying Namjoon.

An unconscious Namjoon with limbs that looked to not be in their right places.

Jungkook shot forwards and nearly fell face first on the ground because he didn't have his arms to find his balance but thankfully he balanced himself in time, he also thankfully stopped himself in time to say or do anything stupid.

'One peep, and the other one gets hurt' a sentence that he kept hearing repeatedly in his head and it was enough to keep him quiet.

"JUNGKOOK!! JIMIN!" Taehyung shouted. Of course, the newcomers didn't know about the attacker's rule, and he was immediately punished when he was shoved to the ground rather roughly earning a smirk from the attackers.

"Shut up!" the attacker growled and reached in his pockets to grab a set of handcuffs. But Taehyung was too shocked and shook his head while getting on his hands and knees "Jimin!! OMG you're hurt! Your shoulder!! Kook are you-"

"SHUT UP!" the man shouted again and motioned something to the attacker who was still standing close to Jimin. The man nodded and knelt next to the hurting boy, grabbing his hair like he had done minutes earlier. And without any warning he smashed Jimin's head against the wall yet again.

"JIMIN!! LET HIM GO!!! DON'T HURT HIM"

"Be quiet or I WILL HURT HIM AGAIN" and that made Taehyung go silent within a heartbeat as he panted with wide eyes while he watched as the attacker released his hold on Jimin. The other 95-liner groaned in pain and was hanging on the edge of consciousness with unfocused eyes scanning the floor underneath him. And despite sitting down on the ground, he was swaying a lot, until he suddenly stopped, hiccuped once, twice and then threw up in front of him.

The attacker immediately jumped back and walked to the other side of the restroom to get away from the vomit as far as possible while looking disgustingly at a pale and sick Jimin, who had lost what little color he had to his cheeks and was breathing shallowly.
