Worst is yet to come

Chapter 5

Seokjin screamed and thrashed against the hands holding him back earning himself scratches and bruises from his struggle on the hard floor of the airport, but not actively fighting them at the same time knowing that the girls surrounding him didn't mean any harm and were simply trying to keep him safe. They had actively prevented him from being attacked and taken by strange armed men, but sadly Taehyung had been too fast for them and got into the wrong hands only because he was blinded by the worry of his members and chose to ignore the rational decision to stick by his hyung. Seeing his second youngest member being abruptly taken in front of his eyes, without being able to help or stop the attack, pained Seokjin too much. He is the oldest of the group. He was supposed to take care of the rest, make sure they were safe and healthy at all times, but he couldn't do any of those things right now.

"Taehyung! Namjoon! I need to help them!" Seokjin rambled with a high pitched voice when the hand covering his mouth was loosening their hold. One of the girls, Sarah he remembered, quickly shushed him and made sure that the hand was back in place to silence the member again. Another set of hands grabbed his upper right arm, while another girl was getting on his other side, and with a few hushed words they suddenly stood up and forced Seokjin back into the store again.

"Stay low" the tallest girl whispered, her voice stern and very serious. She also motioned with her finger for them to keep quiet while she carefully looked around one of the shelves that held some candy. The atmosphere was tense and the room became very silent, too silent to be comfortable and it only serve to worsen the horrible feeling Seokjin had in his heart. The boy became restless and whined behind the hand covering his mouth, he didn't like how one of the girls grabbed his hand to squeeze it tight to comfort him. He needed to gather his members, go home to never leave the safety the place provided while keeping them all in front of his eyes for a very long time. The helplessness almost brought tears to his eyes but he stubbornly held them back refusing to be weak for the sake of his members.

"It'll be okay" she whispered, but the tallest girl nudged her side quite harshly and once again motioned firmly for them to keep quiet. Seokjin and the three other girls watched her with alarmed but anxious eyes, and for a minute or so nothing happened. But then she suddenly ducked and made sure the rest of their little group stayed low as well.

"Emma what's wr-"

"Shush!" Emma whispered harshly "Someone's coming closer" she added in voice so hushed that it was barely audible yet they heard it loud and clear like she screamed at them.

The 5 kept quiet and bundled together in the corner of the shop as they listened closely to their surroundings. But the second they heard footsteps coming closer, their bodies tensed up as they simultaneously held their breaths together.

"Did you see the video?" a deep male voice was heard.

"Yeah what the fuck was that all about?" another male voice was heard. The footsteps stopped and judging by the volume and footsteps, the men had stopped in front of the little shop, but they failed to notice the 4 girls and Seokjin hiding right under their nose.

"I thought we were only here to take the boys for a couple of hours until we got the money" the first man continued. A muffled sound was heard, and it sounded like a video being played on a phone "They shot the bodyguard. What the hell were they thinking?"

"Shit this is bad!" the other man said "He is getting us in prison for lifetime if he continues like this. This wasn't the plan!"

"Do you know which boys were taken? I really suck at names"

The second man chuckled and grabbed a bag of chips from the shelf. "You only watched videos of your own member, didn't you?"

"It was hard enough to recognize one of them. Luckily I got Yoongi, but seriously, the rest all look the same"
